I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to visit Hoh Xil in person. With the average elevation of about 4500m, we took a self drive from Golmud and it took us about 3 hours. It is such a barren land with difficult environment for people to live but it is indeed the heaven for wild animals! We saw snowy mountain peaks, grasslands, rivers and small lakes cross the land here and there, feel like the clouds near you and move slowly towards the horizon, wild yaks, Tibetan antelopes, birds runs and flys freely along the way. Fresh air is free! Get your mouth open and take deep breath as much as you can. Generally, I am delighted to see those lovely naive animals are happy and protected in this land with hope and joy.

On this large northeastern Tibetan plateau, or also referred to as no-man's land, we saw several small herds and one large herd of Tibetan antelopes. We also saw a few wild donkeys.

在可可西里地区的五道梁保护站里小歇。
我们车队进入保护站，寻求一个“唱小曲”的方便。
保护站的工作人员表现出了极大的热情。
他们长年驻扎在这荒漠戈壁上，工作很是辛苦。
旅游季节，每天都会接待大量的旅客，提供方便。
而一旦到了旅游的淡季，荒无人烟，非常地寂寞哦~
这一路上，泰迪小杆子表现出很强的适应性。
行车时安静睡觉休息，遇到牛羊时吼叫几声。
停车后下来，自行解决自己的大小问题，不用操心。

Hoh Xil is also known as Kekexili. The only way to get there is hire a private driver, get your foreigner permit (or have your driver sweet talk the police, that's what mine did). It takes about 2 hours from Golmud to get there, and you pass some very scenic areas as you ascend a couple thousand meters. You can get out of the car if you want, but if the police drive by, they will tell you to get back in your vehicle immediately. Bring food. There is literally nothing but unspoiled land as far as the eye can see. At some point there is a rest stop where you can purchase basic items, but don't rely on that; there is no guarantee they will have many provisions.
Along the way, I saw many Antelope and Wild Donkey, a few birds, and a big black fuzzy thing, I was told was a bear. Other than that, it's the general feeling of isolation that truly struck me. Only the road under the car and the train tracks to the left of us were signs of human intervention. In the distance are mountains, or grasslands, and glacial rivers here and there.
Try to go on a bright day, as due to the elevation, a cloudy day means very little visibility. I went in the morning and couldn't see more than a kilometer away, but the day broke and I could see far beyond that.
It costs about 800元 from Golmud; either ask your hotel desk, or visit the bus station. There are a few people outside the station willing to set up a ride. The bill is split between passengers, so a bigger group is cheaper.
Along the way, I saw many Antelope and Wild Donkey, a few birds, and a big black fuzzy thing, I was told was a bear. Other than that, it's the general feeling of isolation that truly struck me. Hoh Xil, to some extent, is considered to be the last piece of pure land on the earth. Numerous people are shocked by the spectacular raw beauty when they set foot on the land for the first time.
Located in Gansu Province, Hoh Xil is not only a famous scenic spot but one of the biggestnaturalreservesin China. From April toJune, other placesare warm and hot, while Hoh Xil is still snowy and cold. It is extremely hard for people to survive in this barren land. However, this is a heaven for wild animals, including the Tibetan antelopes and wild yaks. Also, bald eagles fly freely in the sky.
I feel very lucky to have the golden chance of visiting there in person. We took a self-drive tour aroundHoh Xil, which is a virtually unspoiled region without any contamination. The sky is blue as well as clear, with clouds moving slowly towards the horizon. The air is fresh and there is no noise. Having taken a deep breath, the whole world spreading before me seems to quiet down.A wide variety of wildlife can be seen there.The altitude being high, I felt I need only reach out totouch the sky. We greeted tothe locals, too. They appear to be content with their lives.Besides, there are many rivers and lakes, in which some rare fishes live. The water tastes sweet. Human settlements and wild animals are highly dependent on the spring water and snowmelt in nearby mountains.
If you want to go there, it is strongly advised that you bring food yourselves because there areno markets and restaurants. At last, please remember that it is important not to leave any trash behind.

因为一部电影而红起来的地方。本身是国家级的自然保护区，到处可见牦牛、羚羊。非常开阔与壮观。远观雪山，近看牦牛。十分值得一去，体验自然的神奇。

可可西里自然保护区分布在青海与西藏交界，广阔的无人区，却是野生动物的乐园，这里时不时能看到藏羚羊，我们在前往双湖特别区的时候还看到成群的野牦牛，还有狐狸。。因为人类的缺席，这里是大自然的天堂

非常棒，天非常蓝，空气很清烈，雕塑位置有明显的高原反应，不能距离运动。即使快走几步也会大口喘气。到了保护站，高原反应就很难受了。站里有受伤正在疗养的藏羚羊，草原上得幸运才能看到。

这里是青藏线进藏的必经之地，当然深入其中是很危险的，因为气候恶劣，所以是无人区。我们是开车路过的，居然在路边看到了灵巧跳跃的藏羚羊！很小嘛，没有我想象中的体形大，实际上它们是很容易受惊的动物，车一来，它们就很快的跳着没影了。这片冻土非常寒冷，建议游客不要久留，看看即可，快些赶路才要紧。

今年夏天，同家人一起开车到可可西里。8月的天气，可可西里的温度在4摄氏度，一进入可可西里给人第一感觉是生命禁区，四处荒芜人烟，四处都是戈壁滩。在深入进去，随地可以看到野生动物的尸体，白骨，感觉是到了上帝遗弃的地方，如果这个地方在炙热一点，想极了地狱。在路上看到了藏羚羊，野驴，狐狸，一些野生动物。这里一望无际，这种景色，我真不知道应该怎么来形容。我想如果来可可西里旅游，应该是对自己心灵的一次洗礼吧？因为这里可以给你一种很奇怪的感觉，说不出好坏，各位自己体会吧。
