I stopped here with friends and we were all enthralled with their products. They had excellent quality gardening supplies, lots of dog-related products and beautiful art work. I ended up buying my summer's supply of cards here. They were prints of artwork from one of the owner’s. We felt no pressure to buy anything and enjoyed the stop, and our visit with the owner.

The Crocker Hill Store in St. Andrews is a must. Not on the main street though, down one of the side streets, the name I can't remember. Hopefully you will get to meet Stephen, the artist, if not you can purchase his amazing art in the store, and some lovely soaps, scents, chocolates, dog or cat toys and treats, or meet his lovely wife.
A must see if you visit St. Andrews.

This is a nice little to visit if you are interested in gardening, birds, dogs or chocolate. There are lots of good items relating to all three things in the shop. The shop is small and filled with lots of things to see. They do sell a nice range Rogers Chocolates for those fans of them. All of the items are of high quality. It's as if the owners created a store around their interests and hobbies.

Crocker Hill Store on King St.i. Saint Andrew's is the perfect little store for gifts, high quality garden items, beautiful wildlife/bird art, and a large selection of dog items. Oh, and I forgot to mention that they carry some of the best chocolate I've ever had!

After chatting with the woman running the shop I felt I should at least purchase something. However most items are not to my taste and the ones I did like were pricey. Most of the items were very expensive. For example it was $28 for a tube of hand cream. I wound up getting several chocolate bars from Rogers Chocolates.
The sales woman proceeded to switch the sale from CA to US dollars. No one else has done this and the whole reason for using a credit card rather than cash is to assure I am getting the correct and accurate exchange rate. It was not until we got home that I realized she had ripped me off by switching to an exchange I rate that benefited her. I wound up paying more plus a 4% fee that I was not made aware of at all. My credit card offers foreign transactions without a fee so this is even worse for me.
Lesson learned. I will never be back and will warn anyone I know who may come to the area to avoid this shop and it’s unscrupulous practices.
PS I am scared of dogs so having two large dogs tied to the shop entrance by the owner could discourage business from people who feel the same or have allergies.

This building is the former Charlotte County Registry Office. In the vault at the back of the shop you will find great dog toys which my lab really enjoy and which survive years of serious play. There is also good Canadian made dog treats. I visit this shop almost every time I get to St. Andrews.

This is a charming shop filled with well-curated treasures. Apart from King and other upper end dog toys and gear (a great selection of quality matching collars and leashes, from punk to preppy), we appreciated their variety of fine chocolates. There is a bit of non-dog, non-chocolate, non-garden merchandise, but not much. That said, my kids are always as excited as I am to go. How could we can resist getting a matching leash and collar with fish on them? Or moose and fir trees? Or skulls and dog bones? The shop is set in a beautiful cottage garden. There is a resident English setter as well.

This place is worth your time if you are a Gardner, dog lover (or know someone who is) a lover of chocolate, want to know the latest about essential oils, or are interested in lovely paintings of all types of birds. One of the owners is an artist, and his work is of gallery quality. The owners have selected items that mean a lot to them, so it is fun to browse and learn at the same time. The gardens around the store are worth the short walk from the Main Street.

We love Crocker Hill! The owners are such wonderful people, so helpful and kind! We get all of our bird and pet needs here! A wonderful selection of interesting items - definitely worth stopping in for a visit!

The Crocker Hill Store is open daily 10 am. until 5 pm.until Christmas.
On Sunday, Dec. 24, Christmas eve, the shop will close at 2 pm.
Over the winter months, we are usually open Mondays through Saturdays.
