Giovanni, our guide, was the best! It really was a very good organized trip, the kids (8 and 10) really enjoyed themselves and we had a blast as well! Can really recommend it!

Best activity of our trip!! Amazing!

This was by far the best activity of our trek through the Rockies. We did many additional activities throughout our 12 day trek through the Rockies with trek america. We did glacier walking, canoeing, zip lining ... the lot!! However, the most fun we had on any one day was when we went white water rafting with these guys and our tour guide who was called Jerr made the day for us and made it such great fun!! Would totally recommend this guy and the whole team for that matter even though he does tell the occasional porky in jest and to test how our gullibility. Cheers Jerr!! You the man!!

Fantastic!

We took the classic rafting trip from Glacier Raft Adventures and we had a blast. We were absolutely soaked but what fun we had. Great organization. Superb barbecue on the way, ' "how would you like your steak sir?" De rafting is great, slow start to get used to the boat, the steering commando's and to get you ready for a serious dip in the Kicking Horse River.
Thank you Chicks and Dudes from Glacier, you really made our day!
Highly recommended!!

Great rafting

We took the longer white water trip on the Kicking Horse River. Excellent whitewater, 3's and 4's. Our guide, Mike, worked hard to give us a great day. Loved the campfire and beer afterwards.

Amazing!

We went with 4 adults and 4 children ages 7 to 11. It was our first time for everyone and we all loved it and said we'd do it again. Even the one guy who we had to practically drag there! Olie was our guide and he was very informative about the area. He recommended different restaurants and places to go and see while in the area. Would definitely recomend this company to anyone young or old. Thanks for the great afternoon. Oh, also have to mention James our driver/photographer who had to work while Olie played the whole time. Matt and Gwen were also great on our trip, they were in the other boat with another family so we didn't really have much to do with them except on the trip up to the launch site and back. On the bus Matt tried to scare us a bit, but in a humourous way. The kids really liked him.

Went out with our 2 families Aug 9 with Matt and Ollie-had a great time from the time we boarded the bus! Both guides were funny and informative, and our 10 year old girls had a bit of a crush on Matt! Great thing to do if you are in the area. Would do it again. Barb

Scenic Float Tour

The scenic float tour was wonderful. You float down the river and watch for wildlife. Your guide offers information on wildlife, vegetation, rivers and lakes, and local attractions and entertainment. The trip is very relaxing. We saw 5 bald eagles, close enough to view with the naked eye. (Great photos!) There are no rapids. It is a gentle trip appropriate for all ages.

Toby Creek Rafting

My son, grandson (9) and I had a fabulous white water rafting trip down Toby Creek. The last part in particular from Panorama to their lodge was a series of class 3 waves. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an adventure that is suitable for the whole family from 8 and up. The guides Matt and Ollie made our trip safe, informative and fun.

Great taste of white water rafting!

My Dad and I have never rafted before - a float trip is as much as we've managed - so we wanted to try out something a bit tougher. The Toby Creek trip was a great introduction - enough white water and instruction to give you a sense of what it could be like and the excitement but not enough to scare you out of it. Our guide Oli was great (hope that's a beer for you now...) clear instructions, interesting info about the area and some comedy thrown in for good measure.

I'd highly recommend this company and this trip and definitely want to give more rafting a go in the future!
