I began this 2.8 mile section of the Nene way by entering the cricket ground entrance and following the sign to the top of the drive.
There is a hidden sign pointing towards the left hand side of the building so I followed that and walked around the edge of the cricket ground until I located a gate in the top right of the pitch.....this was already proving to be tricky as signs were poor or hidden.
I followed the sign which pointed me along the edge of a farmers field until I met a drive/ road which ran across the Nene way, again no sign.
I continued straight until the top where I turned left and them right after seeing a sign in the distance.
This was the last sign I saw until I reached Fotheringhay.
I continued passing over a Brook and finally reaching a gate which took me by some houses.....again no signs.
I guessed and turned left and walked for about 0.5 miles along a road until I reached the main road where I turned left.
This took me up towards the Falcon Inn pub and the beautiful church further down.
To continue the walk towards Warmington continue along the main road until you locate the first old wooden sign for a few miles and this takes you on towards Warmington mill.
Overall this walk was mainly on road and farmers fields however the signage was terrible or non existent in many places.
