Receiving it’s namesake after their family farm in Switzerland, Corcelettes Estate Winery is a clever melange of Swiss-French heritage and tradition with the beautiful terroir of Canada. Urs and Barbara Baessler and winemaking son Charlie opened the original winery near Cawston in 2013.
After his Science and Agriculture degree from University of Lethbridge helped his transition to wine country, Charlie started with Herder Winery in 2008 then unto Burrowing Owl, and Clos du Soleil to hone his skills.
When his long sought after and dream location (Herder Winery) became available in 2015, the family purchased it- very serendipitous! Now Charlie and wife Jesce carry the torch and personalize the gorgeous property where the journey all started from!
Sheep and chicken graze the fields, sustainability and low energy consumption are practices and complete focus on craft wine make this Similkameen boutique winery a MUST VISIT! 🏆🍷🥂🍇⛰

We stopped at this wonderfully located wineries on the spur of the moment. Luckily, even though you need a reservation -thank Covid for this- they had room for us. Lovely hostess. Great terrace with a view. Wonderful wines.

First time visiting Corcelettes and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Corcelettes allowed only one group to be tasting in their smallish tasting room, which we really appreciated. Our hostess Lana provided some excellent background knowledge of grape-growing in the Similkameen Valley, and of winemaking. The wines tasted were excellent, with a personal leaning to their Bordeaux blends.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and will return!

The setting is wonderful, the only place that gave out new glasses between red and white.
However, not to apply tasting fee towards purchase, is off setting. I will not return.

50% of all taste fees donated to our local primary school, every year. If $10 for a 5-6oz glass of premium wine, poured in the vineyard that it’s grown, with friendly staff explaining the process, half of which is donated to charity, is too much for you, then you are NOT the clientele we welcome.

Wow, what great service! Super friendly, tasted a variety of wines. Sat on the patio spaces from other tables. Loved the Santé frizzante you start with. The only complaint is that there’s a $10 tasting fee not waived with purchase, we would’ve opted to buy more wine had it been waived. But I understand times are tough. Overall nice experience :)

Impressive vineyard and winery. The vineyard is very well maintained with grapes hanging thick on the vines. Preparations were underway to begin picking in the near future. The owners are in the process of expanding the vineyard.
The tasting room is well appointed and operated in a professional manner to enable the customer to have a favorable tasting experience. The owners were on hand to enhance the experience and give it a personal touch. It is evident that they take great pride in this remarkable operation. The quality of the wine is superb and Corcelettes Winery wins top honours each year both nationally and regionally.
The front of the tasting room is elevated but for those with mobility issues, you can drive to the back of the tasting room and enter at ground level.
A new, interesting feature since our visit a year ago, is the addition of a small herd of sheep which helps to control the weeds in the vineyard.

Excellent service: Jennifer was very knowledgeable and great at joggling different groups at the same time. I only tried frizzante, white and rosé(since I don't like red wine). They were all good, but Oracle, the rosé, was the best.
Prices are definitively good: Tasting of 5 for 5, and glass of wine for 5.

We stopped by on our wine tour at this smaller clean beautiful winery. The wine tasting was a true pleasure hosted by the present owners. We purchased a few boxes of wine as we truly enjoyed the quality and caliber of the wines presented. We also have ordered several boxes of wine to follow us home as the quality of the wine tasted was exceptional as only 4000 boxes of wine are produced here annually and we are unable to purchase this winery's products in the store.
