Hired a Surrey bike and purchased gifts. Great little shop with lots of choice. Hired the Surrey bike for 30 mins. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly each time we visited. Made us feel very welcome.

This place is the only gas station in town, it’s a gift shop, convince store and rents bikes.
We ended up buying toys for the kids, purchased milk daily, and rented Surrey bikes!
Kids loved the Surrey bikes. The person on the left does control the bike.
Gotta check this place out when your in Waterton townsite!

You can’t go to Waterton without a visit to Pat’s. This time around we rented a Surrey bike for an hour for our teen and two friends. They had such a blast (and workout!) and so much fun! Staff were excellent on signing out and return.

This store has a bit of everything, from chocolate bars, bike rentals to gas for your car. We went there to rent a Surrey Bike, thinking an one-hour rental. The young girl advised us that we should go with 1/2 hour first ($20) because it is more difficult to ride than it looks. She suggested that if we decided to go for another 1/2 hour, we could call and will only charge us another $10. She was right. The bike, although it looked fun, was pretty hard to maneuver. 1/2 hour was fun, and was enough to ride within the town limit. I appreciate this kind of honest way of running a business, unlike the Bayshore Inn, where they tell you a lakefront room is not a room in front of a lake! LOL!!

Only game in town for mechanical, souvenirs, electric bike and pedal carriages run by two younger guys who are really open and friendly. Need air for a low tire before heading back to Calgary they told me no problem it’s out back filled it got gas on my way worry free. Thank you Guys!

We rented one of the 4 wheel bikes from Pat’s for our family (2 adults, two kids) and had a blast. It was $20 for half an hour and $30 for an hour. We chose an hour and cycled around town. My 4 year old and 7 year old fit in the front seat while my husband and I did all the work in the back, it was definitely a leg workout! We really enjoyed it. The staff member we talked to was friendly and we received great service.

I’m giving it a three only because, customer service by, I’m assuming the owner could improve. His staff on the other hand, are fantastic! I got to the store at closing time, just to have the door locked pretty much in my face. Having forgotten a toothbrush, the hotel was out of them, and I was told by the hotel to go there. I asked if he was the only place I could buy a toothbrush from and he then proceeded to tell me my hotel had them and that they were lying to me and laughed about it. I obviously needed one and rather than help me he was a jerk about it.
I did go back the next day to rent equipment and the young man that helped, was super friendly and helpful. Maybe the older man could learn from the younger staff about how to treat people.

Pat's seems to be the most popular spot in Waterton. It is always busy and people love it. It just has a traditional feel to it. They seem to be the only gas station, they're within walking distance of all the popular restaurants and motels, and offer an extensive selection of bike rentals. For example, for only $30/hour you can rent an e-bike or a Surrey bike (4-wheel bike), among other types. The brothers that work there were very friendly and helpful. Pat's is a certified Giant dealer/repair, and when my husband was having trouble with his derailleur, they were able to fix it on the spot, within the hour, and charged him only $10. Good as new. They seem to get really busy with bike rentals around mid-day, so the mornings and evenings are good times to inquire about rentals. With the main street closed to vehicle traffic, it is perfect for the Surrey bike. Our kids loved it. They also sell the most delicious jerky :)

Our first time riding e-bikes and the staff were wonderful in taking time to explain all the gears to us. We rode around 30 miles from Pat's to the end of Red Rock Canyon Road and back. The bikes were easy to ride and this was a major highlight of our trip. It was a blast. There were six of us and most in our 60's and we had no problem at all going up hills with these bikes. We started late in the day or we would have hiked to the falls. Get off bikes at the end and take short walk to red rock canyon. It is gorgeous. We hit the wildflowers along this road at the perfect time in July.
