Great location in heart of Bristol, within the best place for food, St.Nicks market; itself, a food lovers heaven.
Lucky enough to visit on a sunny, Saturday morning, so we welcomed the outside seating as we awaited breakfast.
Opting for the Full English, without any issues to substitute, beans for an extra sausage.
The breakfast arrived not long after seated, and looked promising.
Overall a good tasty breakfast, but it could have been improved with more seasoning, the poached egg, should have been runny & not over cooked, and the mushroom was rubbery.
For over £16 for 1 Full English, a black coffee & hot chocolate, it wasn’t bad for a city centre location, however I feel there are much better options in the surrounding area.

I popped in just to try these. I’m generally non plus about oysters but, as usual, these guys know their stuff.
If you get a chance to try this place out, it’s some of the best quality and very reasonable prices.
Btw, they do one of the best breakfast in town!

A great place to have breakfast. Fantastic food, friendly staff and good surroundings. The sausages and white pudding were delicious!

Good qaulity food, restaurant qaulity.. however a few discrepancies. .
Pricey and environment uncomfortable..seating more appropriate for a cafe .. whilst knowing it was December there was a willow the whisp chill..whilst the Sand sole and beef steak dish were of qaulity the portions aren't generous.. club sandwich contained tiniest amount of chicken breast..
Staff nice but not overly friendly..
Drinks expensive.. small glass of wine £6... or bottle of for £22.50!!
Glad we visited..and would probably return again if we feeling flush and had overall experience of St Nicholas Market afterwards to make it feel an event.. but wouldn't otherwise...

Had good breakfast here.
The two boiled eggs and soldiers were very good and excellent value at £3.50.
Vegetarian breakfast also very tasty.
Good strong coffee.
Service fine-although slightly offhand manner.
Nice to see photos of the local farmers who provide the produce. Very pleasant decor and setting. Not too busy.

A friend referred me to Source after he came back to work with a delicious looking pasty! I'm glad he did!
A lovely, friendly little resturant and deli with great friendly staff. An impressive array of rarer-than-normal meats, a collection of cheeses to make the french jealous and not over the top prices ... they have everything you need to make a delicious meal, or, to eat one there in their cosy little resturant that utilises the very same products they sell!! And the bakery upstairs offers sweet treats and baked goods to match some of the surrounding resturants. The chocolate brownie with mint fondant is particularly good!
Worth a trip if you're cooking, looking for a place to eat or want a quick bite as you pass by!!!

We came for brunch on a Monday morning, having read great reviews online, and it was even better than expected. I had the smoked haddock and poached egg and my partner had the full English. Both absolutely gorgeous!
Not the cheapest place but absolutely worth it for the quality local ingredients and spot on cooking.

All three of us enjoyed a good breakfast with friendly service
Had two full breakfasts and my wife had boiled eggs and toast all good even come cut into soldiers
Would eat here anytime
Good quality food
One slight thing chamge sausage for one with less rusl and.more meat although flavour not bad could improve but apart from that excellant 😊

Sat lunch, st Nicholas market great atmosphere looked around an thought the source looked nice. It was empty should have taken the hint. After waiting 10 mins at the table outside I went to the counter where the staff were chatting an asked for a menu, I was told to help myself ok the girl that served us dint know the menu an got our drink orders wrong. I thought I would play it save an asked for a burger, disappointed very small burger an really over cooked I was hungry so I ate it. I would have mentioned some thing if I was asked but when I went inside the staff were to busy chatting amongst them selfs an dint seem interested in their clients. Payed an left I felt it would have been a waste of time if I had said something. Will not return unless it is under new management. Pity

We would have missed this little gem of a cafe if we hadn't been taken there by relatives..Worth seeking out for a tasty breakfast of locally sourced ingredients...For me it was the Gloucester old spot sausages that stole the show..Luckily there're fish and meat deli counters in the café,so we came home with some too!..The staff are very friendly knowledgeable and helpful & the café is very clean..
