I spent 2 hours in the museum and enjoyed every minute. The special exhibition on money used as a means of protest was particularly interesting and very well put together. It included many examples of coins, notes and bills of exchange used to express protest against authority. The art gallery includes many famous impressionist paintings and sculpture. I will be returning for a further helping of this wonderful amenity soon.

Nous avons fait une visite inoubliable de Cambridge, de la ville et des collèges, en francais. Notre guide, Brigitte, .tait une française d'orogine qui habite Cambridge depuis plusieurs décennies et qui fait manifestement beaucoup de recherches sur la grande et la petite histoire de Cambridge. Elle a partagé avec nous sa passion pour cette ville, contribuant ainsi à nous la faire connaître et apprécier. Nous avons adoré les deux heures passées en sa compagnie et avons acquis toutes les connaissances de base pour ensuite apprécier pleinement le reste de notre séjour. Had a very informative, fun tour round Cambridge with Tony Rodgers yesterday. Tony was very knowledgable and amusing at the same time. Would highly recommend.

Our guide Catharine, law graduate, Gonville & Caius College, was extraordinarily knowledgeable, personable and keen to engage in all sorts of discussions off the script of the tour. Tour details : 1,5 hours, Sunday 13th December, 2020.

On a short visit to Cambridge, on a lovely sunny day, we found Sophie Smiley, our blue badge guide. It was so entertaining and educational, we would highly recommend this tour.
Although some locations were closed due to covid-19 Sophie led us through many wonderful points of interest, with history, and architecture prominent.
We felt very lucky to have been lead by Sophie, a generous and engaging guide.

Just finished the walking tour with a guide named Dylan. Had a wonderful tour he was very informative and very witty!! Lots of knowledge about university life at Cambridge. I would highly recommend this walking tour , the time flew. Hopefully you would be lucky enough to get Dylan as a guide

Sorry to answer so late. The Cambridge station is ca. half an hour walk fom the city centre. Have a nice visit if is not already done.
Is it necessary to book a tour or can we just show up at the meeting point and pay the guide?

Book a tour with Gill Mallett. She is great and knows everything. My first tour was okay but my second with her was awesome.
