We hired the Pilot boat for a day and had an amazing time. We were professionally briefed at the start and given clear instructions on the boat and where we could go in a day. The boat was clean and well maintained and well fitted out. The day was spent going up the Fal and then fishing in the way back. A really memorable experience and we will definitely be back for more!

Great bunch at Mylor Boat Hire, really friendly and helpful, hired one of the Shrimpers this week, best day of our holiday, Dog friendly too.

Mylor boat hire have been amazing from booking to our boating experience. They were very helpful and prompt with their response. The setting is so picturesque and we were given a warm welcome. We ventured up the river and moored where we enjoyed a very tasty coffee and cake. The boat was easy to manoeuvre, the instructions given were clear and it felt safe with our 3 children. We booked for half day but could have been on there for the day. They are all very reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

We dropped in to Mylor Boat Hire on the off chance of bring a little boat to explore the Fal Estuary.
We were warmly greeted by their team, but unfortunately we hadn’t booked and all the boats were out.
Not all was lost as we were offered the opportunity to take out their new electric 10 man launch.
What an absolute pleasure to cruise around the estuary on a virtually silent boat enjoying the fantastic scenery.
Thank you Mylor Boat Hire for making our day!

Great experience. To add to boats I have driven or sailed.
Great for the family, Dog friendly, more traditional compared the rival business and better priced.
Good not having advertisement all over the boat.
My 18month old son loved it.
Had a great sale up to Malpas and back down to Mylor.
Hoped to see sun seals 🦭 on way up or down but no luck this time
Little motor to the Pandora on way back
Great views, lovely weather, friendly staff, highly recommended
Well priced for 3.5hrs plenty of time for sum fun
We will defo be doing it again next holiday

We had the best day, having hired a boat with these guys. Friendly, calm and efficient. The process was really straightforward. Simple tiller and outboard motor. We cruised the whole way up to Malpas and back down against the tide to St Mawes. Glorious sunshine, we felt like river queens for the day… and our dog came too! We loved that there was no flashy advertising all over the boat, like some we’d seen on the river. We were able to pretend we owned the boat. Perfect.

Lovely group of people, so helpful and informative.
We got a boat and took a look at the nearby castles. Even got a little waterproof map to take with us so we knew what we were looking at!
Highly recommend these guys!

Hired a Shrimper with skipper for a half day's sailing to experience these type of boats before setting out in our own Shrimper. Had a great sail. Boat was well prepared and the sailing area is great despite somewhat inclement weather which was a bonus in a way for testing out the boat and us! Our skipper was knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips on sailing these craft that make things easier and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend MBH to others and would sail with them again anytime.
