We visited the Edgecumbe arms on the 29th of december for 2 nights with friends. we there to attend a wedding at Polhawn Fort. On our arrival we where greeted by Dave and Heidi who where very helpful an so friendly. The room was excellent and ideal for what we required. we had food in the evening and the breakfast ,both were excellent. Scott came to help with the Bar on the evening another helpful friendly member of staff. All in all a lovely stay. well recommended

We stayed here for 2 nights and it couldn’t have been better. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Even though there was an issue with the heating and hot water it didn’t seem to matter as the staff bent over backwards to ensure we still enjoyed our stay.
The rooms were spotless and the breakfast huge and delicious.
Highly highly recommend this place as a base to explore the Rame Peninsula.
The submarine was a bonus!

It’s a nice spot beside Victoria Park and near a trendy cluster of shops. A pub ought to do well here. But the pub has been closed. For a year or more and the agents signs have suggested it could be used for residential, retail etc. Yesterday we saw that even the signs had gone. That could mean something is happening or that it’s all on pause.
This review is just to say that having walked by and peered into the front in mid July 2020, there is no pub or anything else operating here for the time being, which is a pity.

Came in to what appeared to be a dark pub but soon opened up to be a rustic and charming pub, much bigger than expected.
My wife, the inlaws and myself decided to have some food. Prices seemed a bit to much for what we were getting....that was until the meals were put in front of us. As a "larger" man I very rarely say I'm full but this is the closest I've come to it in many years.
Apart from a small mistake on the drinks order which was instantly amended the service was perfect.
Looking forward to my next visit.

Neighbourhood pub on the bottom corner of Molesworth Rd beside an entrance to Victoria Park. Sells a good deal of real ale, has Sky TV and has a friendly feel.
