They’re back!

Great to see the horses and carriages back in cockington. We didn’t ride in the carriage but just having them back makes a walk in our lovely village of Cockington all the more rewarding.

Ride in carriage in cockington

The Horse and carriage ride is a must when visiting cockington in Devon. Was a lovely experience for us all our friendly lady whom told us all about the area and the history. Very covid safe all seats were washed down before we got on. Lovely slow journey and photos taken at the end. Thank you.

"A great afternoon with Annie and the team"

We booked with K & H Cockington Carriages for a 1pm visit. We were slightly late as we were waiting in the wrong location in Cockington. Annie and the team were very patient and waited for us to arrive, 10 mins late....sorry.
The ride we had was so nice and smooth, four adults and a very well behaved little dog.
Good information given out as we travelled in the Carriage.
Another colleague was up ahead making sure all was safe.
We had the lake ride which is longer.
A fantastic time we had, and hopefully next year this tour of Cockington will be available for all to enjoy.
Good luck in finding a suitable Winter grazing location close by.

Having a carriage ride is definitely an essential part to the Cockington experience. The guides are really insightful and you get to get to see a large area of the village that you wouldn’t see otherwise. The trip is relaxing and worth the money.

I booked this carriage ride as a surprise for my fiancee.
Kirk and Hannah were very helpful and friendly. They shared interesting facts about Cockington and made the whole experiance very relaxing. We enjoyed a beautiful horse and carriage ride through Cockington lakes and villiage. Kirk took photos of us during the carriage ride and sent them over email within the next day! This was a lovely surprise and a bonus that we didn't expect. We will cherish the photos and memories from our K & H Cockington Carriage ride. Thank you!!!

Amazing ride. We went for the longer ride around the Court, Lakes and village. Lovely horse. Lovely ride. And the lady and gentleman were so welcoming and knowledgeable around the local area. Highly recommend. Would give 10/5 starts if I could.

We visited on July 15th. It was a beautiful warm, sunny day and Cockington was very busy. The highlight of our family visit was a tour in a lovely carriage drawn by Annie. This is a service provided by K&H Cockington Horse & Carriage. It's a brilliant way to complement any walk through this fascinating village. The leisurely pace, the informative description provided by our guide and driverabout details we would otherwise have missed, made this a fitting end to our visit. If you are going to Cockington, booking a carriage ride ought to be a top priority. Adults and children alike will surely love it. Be sure to book in advance because this very popular event is in great demand and otherwise you'll be very disappointed. Well done Kirk and team!
