Good family church

We received a very warm welcome and there were drinks before and after the service. Such a buzz of excitement in the place too. The service was suitable for all ages and the children went out to their own groups during the sermon. We would certainly go again if we are in the area.

True family

The Williams family who lead this church treat everyone who comes like family. The drinks, cakes and savouries after the service feel just like home! The spiritual food and drink here is the best, though. Always a kind and friendly welcome here, plus they really care for those in need.

A welcoming Pentecostal Church

We found this by a Google search. Teh worship was bright, cheerful and sincere and the mnessage by the associate pastor on "A New Heart" was challenging to both believers and seekers. There was free refreshements after the second service. We felt welcome and this visit was a refreshing start to a week's holiday in Torquay. We would recommend this church to anyone who is seeking the Lord and also to mature Christians.

un-welcoming!

I came to this Church for a good couple of months with my now husband. We were engaged at the time and recently moved close by, so we thought we would find a church more local to us.
A lot of reviews here state how friendly and welcoming it is, sadly, for us, this was not the case.
The only real friendly and caring people were Caroline and the pastors sons girlfriend.
Once I came to Riviera Life I asked about being baptised when I was told "speak to Ians PA"
after a few attempts I just gave up on asking.
Before the service Ian and his wife greet the congregation upon arriving - Ian was welcoming but his wife wouldn't even smile at us, let alone say hello!

In a nut-shell if the Church elders don't like you - They let you know about it!!
Not Godly at all.

A very lively, friendly and welcoming church

This church is refreshing - a church where people actually know the Lord, and believe the Bible! The people there are very friendly and made us very welcome. We enjoyed some wonderful worship there and a very good talk from the Minister.
We came out feeling very uplifted and happy.
DO give it a try - you will get something from it I'm sure.
