Wonderful area for shopping with the best collection of independent jewellers you will ever see in one place. Fully pedestrianised and a real pleasure to walk around.

Quartier du centre ville de Brighton, il est situé à proximité directe des attractions les plus touristiques de la ville : Brighton Pier, Royal Pavillon et Brighton Beach.
Même si ce quartier est relativement petit (quelques ruelles seulement), il est très agréable d'y flâner en regardant les boutiques (principalement des bijoutiers) ou les pubs typiques.
Vous y passerez forcément si vous visitez Brighton.

There is a formula for most any beach town on any coast on any continent, beach, amusement attractions and shopping. Brighton does its shopping in the oldest part of the town that has now been converted to pedestrian area. Brighton has a good mix a high end, local niche and just plain tacky touristy. Between our visit to the Royal Pavilion and our dinner reservation, our girls hit the lanes to see what they could find. They enjoyed this section and even made a purchase at a perfumery. It is a great place to kill time.

Very cramped and very busy! Didn’t really get the chance to find any treasures due to the sheer crowds of people. All we could see was highly priced tat 🥴😂. Would perhaps be different on a quiet day but can’t recommend when it’s busy

We always spend a day looking at all of the different types of shops in the lanes and there are always things to buy usually unusual things you cannot find anywhere else!
If you love quirky you will find it here. You will also find things you cannot buy anywhere else.
Want a made to measure shirt, suit of jacket then this is also the place.
Even if you do not want to buy anything you will really enjoy just looking around here.

Plenty to do here loads of small unique shops from cakes vegan places restaurants and jewelry shops plus there's more to see it's like an alleyway of hidden gems to see, definitely worth seeing.

I have been to Brighton before but had never properly walked through The Lanes. It was early on a Saturday but there was a lovely vibe with restaurants setting up for the day. Lots of lovely shops some chains other more interesting independents. Worth a visit.

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am

Park in Morrisons Supermarket parking off Edward Street and after visiting the Lanes, purchase several items in Morrisons and the parking fee is deducted from your bill !!
