All if it. Wonderful experience, charming staff and the most amazing afternoon tea in the garden with cherry blossom in April. The art is well displayed and labelled. The tea was delicious and the scones freshly made with jam and cream. Lovely carrot cake gluten free for partner. Clean and fresh with dog biscuits and water for our four footed friends

This is an excellent museum dedicated to Alfred Munnings who lived here for 40 years. The entrance fee for the house is £12. This proved to be good value. The house and studio are open in the afternoon only. There is a very good cafe which serves strong coffee and a variety of food. Munnings was not just a painter. His sculptures of horses are also impressive.

Delicious cakes and teas in a beautiful relaxed setting. Friendly staff - recommend the Earl Gray fruit cake.

My wife being a fan of Munnings work has always wanted to visit. We very much enjoyed our time here and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. His pictures spanned his whole life and we specially like his paintings based on gypsies .

We very much enjoyed our visit to the Munnings Art Museum. We visited on a day when entrance was by tour only. There were only 6 in our group so we could really enjoy the museum in peace.
I cannot praise our guide, Dr. Bill Teatheredge, highly enough. Although we knew a little about the life and work of Alfred Munnings, Bill brought it all together in his chronological tour of Munnings' career. Focusing on certain paintings he not only told us about the stories behind them but also showed us how to get the most from them by viewing from different distances. The tour was not only informative but was easy to follow interspersed with plenty of light-hearted anecdotes. Bill said that he could not talk about all the paintings because we would be there all day - personally I would have been very happy to have stayed that long!

As an utter super fan of Munnings' work, I have wanted to come here for many years. I was not disappointed. Straight into the hall and there is Taggs Island in all its beauty - I was actually quite emotional entering this house, so full of not only the art of Sir Alfred Munnings, but the house is maintained just as it was when he lived there - one feels that he or his wife might walk in at any moment. So many very beautiful paintings, drawings and sculptures.
I have been to many Munnings exhibitions - but nothing can touch the experience of this museum. I am so grateful to Sir Alfred and Lady Munnings for leaving all this beauty for us to see, and to the staff who are clearly the perfect people to care for this special house and collection - they are all so very well suited to the job.

An extremely interesting visit to see such a large collection of paintings in Munnings home. His study of horses is wonderful.

What a privilege to be immersed for an hour or so in the palpable presence of a master. Sir Alfred had a full and fascinating life of tragedy and triumph - a truly great man.

A fascinating museum in a beautiful setting. This was the home of Alfred Munnings for many years and now contains a selection of his finest paintings. As an artist I found it most inspiring to learn more about his life and ideas about his art.

Just outside of Dedham in a lovely house that Munnings actually lived in. Large & stunning collection of his paintings with special exhibitions every now & then. Famous for his horse paintings but, actually, I was very impressed with some of his non-horse ones as well.
