This is a most excellent parish church with great scale and presence.
The nave roof was raised some time in the past which has resulted in a lovely stained glass window facing east above the screen. A very imp[ressive feature.
All the stained gall is wonderful as is the amazing stone work.

Take a look at this wonderful church when in Cirencester. The town offers much, from department stores to cafes and restaurants.

We visited this church as a spur of the moment thing and we are glad that we did. It is a spectacular church, steeped in history. We were fortunate that we got a guided tour of the church by a very pleasant and knowledgeable lady, who really added to the experience.

A large parish church, often referred to as The Cathedral of the Cotswolds. There is a Lego model of the Abbey that used to exist next door. Look out for the gold chalice. Check before visiting as there are concerts in the church.

Beautiful Church-I actually thought it was a Cathedral.Warm & informative welcome.Free to enter. Beautiful stained glass windows.

The church has a fascinating history , is light and has some beautiful features. Friendly welcome. We were greeted and given a plan and information. Very worth visiting. We were sorry nor to be able to fit in one of the guided visits.

A wonderful example of the final years of Perpendicular architecture. The fan vaulting in the ceilings was spectacular. It was almost cathedral proportions.

A family member took us around the church for a visit. It was great to see the original plan of the original church inside on a board.

Are dogs allowed in the church
Hi. Well behaved dogs are allowed in if kept on the lead. One of your reviewers was probably unable to get into the church because there was a service or event in progress. If it was after 5.00, the church would gave been closed to visitors, but of course, on Sunday it remains open to welcome people to eve song at 6.00pm. We greatly enjoy welcoming visitors from all over the world.
