Overpriced parking - again

Its owned by HS1 so no surprise that prices are sky-high. My gripe is about the price of parking. 45.90 for 4 days - but a generous 1.90 discount if you book online. No discount at all over 4 days so keep your trip short!
Yet another example of developers rinsing the poor old public to keep them in the lifestyle they deserve. And THEY actually want us to take the train!

Poor service

Went this Saturday with my daughter and my two grandchildren .The ticket machine printed out the wrong tickets 3 adult tickets instead of two adult and two children (we weren't the only ones this happened too ) Absolutely no staff to ask what to do the ticket office was closed.Luckily the NCP car park attendant was very helpful and managed to find us a member of staff who was totally unhelpful and took an age to locate another member of staff .Both were uninterested and didn't see the rush ( we had already missed one train and had to be up in London to see a show ,we were in danger of missing .
Eventually with a lot of dithering they told us to get on the train and sort it at St Pancreas .My daughter felt completely stressed out and it definitely spoilt the day we had paid a lot for the show and were late on arrival

Easy to use

I travelled from here on the 8:10am train to Gare du Nord on the 28th no trouble to get through had a slight issue with my car parking but this was user error which was rectified in the station. Straight through to security which was not queuing up at all little hassle with a small baby but other than that very easy. Would easily use again.

Easy travel

What a great station to travel from! It's very easy to get through security and customs; the waiting lounge is spacious and enjoyable wit w Cafe Nero and WH Smiths. Good announcements, and easy to find the correct carriage when standing on the platform. And lots of good parking here. The only downside being a poor website for booking the parking.

Excellent Station

Eurostar is a fantastic way to travel to Paris, Brussels and, recently, Amsterdam. However we have once travelled from St. Pancras and found, as we live in Essex, a real bind to get to. Also the cost of getting there is prohibitive. Security at this station is slow and laborious. So, recently, we have been catching the train at Ebbsfleet.
Security is swift with no hassle as there is never a queue. Comfortable station with plenty of seating and places for a drink and/or sandwich. Car parking is a walk away and there are plenty of spaces. Trains stop and give ample of time to board. OK, once, and only once, we found people sitting in our reserved seats. They moved off reasonable easily.
