Le parc est très charmant! Il y a un petit mémorial pour la seconde guerre mondiale. Il y a des petits ponts et des canards ! Le parc est vraiment à aller voir ! Il est vraiment chouette

This was a lovely spot to walk down and get away from the hustle and bustle of the high street. There are some lovely trees along the waterside and some flower beds.

Westgate Gardens are located on the edge of Canterbury old city next to one of the ancient gates and church.
It's a very picturesque place to sit and enjoy the scenery as well as the people passing by.

Da unsere Unterkunft keine 50 Meter vom Westgate und dem Garten lag, war dieser unser erster Stopp in Canterbury. Typisch englischer Garten mit einm Kanal daneben.
Einige Bänke sind vorhanden, falls man sich setzen will. Bestimt auch eine gute Möglichkeit draußen zu essen.

The most relaxing place. Lovely to walk or for a picnic. Pet friendly and also great for kids as there is a big park at the end

This is about as English as it gets, lovely riverside walk with well maintained gardens for most of the way, dotted with historic looking houses. We’d been to Canterbury 2 times before we finally came across this on our third visit, we felt a bit daft for not having seen them before but that said .. it was well worth the wait, lovely sunny weather helped us meander and relax, it was all splendid. Well done to everyone who maintains it, you’re doing a great job.

This garden is free and runs along the riverbank. The trees are amazing and the views of houses across the river are stunning. Absolutely loved it here.

Giardini pubblici ( accesso gratuito ) bellissimi, silenziosi, romantici a breve distanza dal centro citta'. Da qui partono le gite lungo il canale in barchetta tipo gondola . La pace e il verde pero' li si gode benissimo anche rilassandosi su una panchina in mezzo a una profusione di fiori.
