Great aquarium lots to see, friendly staff but definitely overpriced we only took one hour to look around I think the price should be a lot less.

Visit here during half term with my two sen kids and the only thing missing was a map that would have been handy both before and during so they knew where and what was near. It got very busy but was still enjoyable. The indoor picnic area was a bit disappointing. Fish and the interactive stuff is brilliant

This place would only be worth a visit if it was half the price. It really doesn't have loads here to be honest and we were out within an hour and twenty minutes. It's very overpriced!

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed on your visit as we do try to be an attraction that everyone enjoys.
With over 3500 animals and a non profit charity, The Deep relies on admission income and donations to pay for the running costs of the exhibition, its animals, conservation projects, education and community outreach.
Our tickets also include 12 months unlimited returns in our ticket prices which makes them great value.
Included in this are several additional events (usual during non term time) throughout the year in which we do not ask for any additional costs to attend.
Again, its disappointing to hear you did not enjoy your visit but we appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

My wife suggested the Deep for a visit for our anniversary. I expected an hour of fish. What I got was such a moving experience that we returned the very next day for an even longer time.
This was such an incredible place to visit - honestly, the longer you take, the better. Read the exhibits. Sit down and watch the giant tanks. You will experience so much, feel so many feelings, and maybe, just maybe, learn to experience our world from a different point of view.
We were so fortunate to find a member of staff who was just so informative - she was able to tell us the history of each of the animals we could see in the Endless Ocean exhibit, including the sad stories of the Turtles (one disabled from the waist down, the other unable to eat without assistance - both because of humans). Honestly, I regret not finding out this young lady's name in order to commend her, but her knowledge of the animals and her willingness to show us up close, was just so brilliant,
(Honestly - this lady was on duty at the big window into the tank at around 3pm on Sunday 21st May - if the admin read this, then please add a giant gold star to this staff member's file!)

We visited The Deep today and paid £37.50 (as a senior couple)(including gift aid) plus £3.50 parking plus £9.50 for a tea, coffee and two flapjacks in total £50.50.
Even though we took our time to read information and observe the various aquatic life etc we were done in less than two hours.
Although it was interesting and different We see no reason why we would want to return and take advantage of the unlimited access.
There should be an option to buy a cheaper day ticket, but clearly this would be a loss in revenue. Why would you do that when you can charge the prices you do before people get to see what they’re buying.

As you mentioned we do offer unlimited returns in our ticket prices which makes them great value.
Included in this are several additional events (usual during non term time) throughout the year in which we do not ask for any additional costs to attend.
The parking costs are imposed on us by our local council and out of our control I'm afraid.
Again, its disappointing to hear you did not enjoy your visit but we appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

The place itself is well organised for parking but it should be discounted with admission The admission price is expensive and saying it includes a second visit is away of trying to justify the price .But considering a large amount of people come a long distance away this is not much use.The exhibits are well laid out with a large amount related to interaction. There is one very large tank on three levels holding the Sharks whitch mus children are here for. The cafe area is nice with a small viewing area

Our car park charges are enforced by the local council as we are so close to the city centre.
We find that a lot of our visitors make use of the unlimited free entries for 12 months, we hope you can make use of this at some point.

A friend told me about the deep and said if you get the chance go have a look , which we did excellent aquarium very cleverly done and a visual journey through millions of years of our sea’s and the creatures that live in them . A really family friendly way to spend a day , cafe very good and value for money . We intend to go back again loved it

We took lots of photos of funny fish. My wife is autistic and she loved the penguin. Bought a alien creature egg from the giftshop, put it in the fridge so it has babies! Loved the glass tunnel and the sharks within...SPOOKY. Great family day out or romantic outdo for two 😃

How easy is it to get to, once you arrive in Hull? Are there lots of confusing inner city junctions to navigate? Very nervous country bum-kin asking, that avoids city centres at all costs where possible. If I do visit, I would be driving from that there Lancashire.

Only guide and hearing dogs are allowed inside I believe. There are lots of small children running about in the murk so even a friendly Labrador would probably cause all manner of destruction!

Around one and a half to two hours should be plenty. There are demonstrations at some points informing you of the different sea life. This does not include the time we spent in the Cafe! P.s. There is an area set aside for you to eat your own food. Enjoy your trip.
