Loved this and will definitely be back! Mum and I booked the Spa Day experience and were staying ooff-site. We were really impressed by the spa - loads of variety with different pools, saunas and steam rooms as well as different relaxation areas. We were impressed by the capacity as well - lots of space and we would definitely recommend going on a Friday. As it was changeover day for on-site guests it meant the spa was really quiet and often it felt like we had the place all to ourselves. The staff on reception and in the cafe were lovely. We also were really pleasantly surprised by our breakfast and lunch - delicious food and generous allowance included in the Spa Day package we had booked. The Mezze Platter for two was delicious!

We love this place and it's great when you get a welcome snack and lunch included in the day package. Nice to have some free skincare taster sessions too and Katie is always helpful with product advice. We'll be back.

I was with my granddaughter, we had a great experience at whinfell. Staff were so attentive and apartment, food , spa facilities are amazing.
Special thank you to Katie , who was very good, she showed us around and was doing a demonstration of Elemis products, it was very informative, Katie was great.
We will be back as soon as we can get it arranged. 1 night stay was not enough.

My wife is a wheel chair user and the support we received was excellent throughout our visit. In particular I would like to mention Rachel on reception for both our visits, she was really friendly and helpful and went out of her way to support us. Also I would like to mention Katie who was inside the Spa doing the demonstrations of Elemis products. She also went out of her way to support us. She brought her products over to where my wife was and gave a personal demo to save my wife having to move more than necessary. She was very helpful and helped made our visit even more special.

We were gifted a session at Aqua Sana during a short break to Whinfell Forest in January; a three hour session in the spa, with a platter lunch for two in the café and a scalp, shoulder and head massage for me - a very generous gift.
The Aqua Sana is located adjacent to the Sports Plaza, with it's own entrance outside. Everything is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated, in calming muted tones - think of the various shades of coffee as you add more and more milk.
Changing rooms are well equipped, plenty of lockers (which are operated with the unique Aqua Sana wristband and not the standard Center Parcs ones, which are issued on check in), showers and toilets, seating for changing, mirrors, hair driers etc, toilets and a seemingly endless supply of robes and towels.
On checking in to the spa, each guest is given a large white tote bag, containing slippers, information and lots of space for your towel. Once you are inside the spa, there are hooks everywhere to hang up your robes and bags, so that you always have a safe place for your things and aren't having to put things on the floor which might be wet. Of course, this also helps to eliminate guests 'bagging' a lounger and then wandering off somewhere else.
We were met by a member of staff as we came out of the changing rooms, who helped us book a time at the café for our lunch and then explained about the spa. She offered to give us a quick tour, but we liked the idea of exploring for ourselves.
We visited in January, there was snow on the ground and steam coming off the outside pool, all very atmospheric, but also perhaps a quiet session, I don't know. Certainly, we felt that there was lots of space, it didn't feel busy and we never had to try somewhere else because a particular 'experience' was full.
There are so many different areas to try out, it is well worth being a bit of a geek and studying the plan of the layout, which is on the wall, just inside the double doors as you enter. If we hadn't had a look, we would have missed the Tyrolean Sauna, which you find by walking through the chill area, fabulous.
There is something to suit all tastes here, from just sitting with your feet in bubbles, to different types of showers, the outdoor pool, steam and heat, lounging on sun loungers or getting even more relaxed on sofas and beds in areas with dimmed lighting. There are water coolers and paper cups on tap, also chipped ice.
The treatment rooms are located just off the café, so feel quite separate from the spa area. You are asked to go through ten minutes before the time of your appointment and there is a quiet waiting area with chairs and sofas, and a water cooler available for a drink.
My therapist was friendly, discreet and very professional. I answered some health questions and spoke about my expectations of the treatment and then enjoyed a relaxing massage. I could have then retired to the relaxation room to rest for a while, but decided to return to the spa and find my other half.
The only disappointing element was the café, where we had booked lunch. I can only think that we caught them on an 'off' day because, despite having pre-booked both our meal and the time that we would be arriving, we waited over 40 minutes for our platter to arrive (all cold food, so not a question of cooking times) and had to ask for clarification on drinks available and then had to catch someone's eye to remind them that we still hadn't received any.
A couple a few tables away from us waited nearly an hour and still hadn't received their food when we were leaving. Of course, one can argue that this is a spa, we are all chilled and relaxed and, more to the point, we are on holiday; and to a certain extent, we didn't mind the wait, the environment was pleasant and we were warm and comfortable, but it did rather take the edge off the experience.
Had my treatment been booked for a time after our lunch booking, time would really have been of the essence and it would have been more frustrating.
The platter, when it arrived, was delicious, an assortment of Arabic / Eastern mezze, the ideal meal to pick at and snack on in a leisurely way. We didn't have sufficient crockery for both of us, but by this time we were just so pleased to receive the food, that after a number of attempts to catch someone's attention, we made do.
In the end, lunch took so long that we were unable to return to the spa afterwards, as our session was almost over.
So, I would thoroughly recommend the Aqua Sana and the treatments, such an indulgence, and I would certainly give the café the benefit of the doubt and eat there again, but the dip in service on the day means four stars and not five.

The best spa experience I’ve had in years!
From arrival you are made to feel welcome and relaxed. Staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
A group of 9 of us visited while on a Mums break at Center Parcs and the 3 hours in the spa was a highlight for me. The facial experience with Katie was an unexpected bonus and I loved trying the products with friends. I bought a set as a result and so continue my experience at home!
There are so many different rooms to try and something for everyone in terms of temperature with the showers being a great addition after to refresh.
Laura did not stop tidying up and folding robes so the areas with loungers were always welcoming. There was plenty of room and space to relax with a book or just rest.
Finally, the changing rooms were always clean and tidy with staff regularly clearing towels and making sure there was space. Standards are so high and this spa stands out for me for this reason.
I’ll definitely be back in June, thank you.

Just had a returning visit to Aqua Sana for one of their overnight experiences. Again a fantastic chill out couple of days. Staying in an executive appartment was sheer bliss. Having all meals sorted was great. Lunch at Aqua Sana, eveing meal we chose the Indian restaurant. Great value for money.

We booked the 3 hour spa and afternoon tea package . It was great value for money . The spa itself has an array of different rooms offering both wet and dry saunas , a heated outdoor pool and a variety of quiet areas including water beds ( the only negative for me is that there are only 4 of these and some people stay on them a while meaning not everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy them. )We were then given a lovely demonstration of the Elemis products used in the treatments which we were given to sample . Katie was wonderful , really helpful knowledgable and a lovely personality . She basically talked us through a facial which was all included in the price . What was even nicer is that when she discovered we were there to celebrate our 50th birthdays she gave us hand written cards and a bottle of Prosecco whilst we were enjoying our afternoon tea . How extremely thoughtful and kind . She’s a real asset to the team , who to be fair we’re all lovely including the lovely lady that checked us in initially . The afternoon tea itself was a lovely selection of fresh cake and sandwiches with an option of either a hot drink or any soft drink . Everything was really tasty and really enjoyable .
If you get the opportunity to go , don’t hesitate !! Can’t wait to visit again !!

We visited center parcs in December but didn't get time to have a spa day. We returned in January with a spa booked up for my daughter in law and i. The spa is as fabulous as i remembered . We took up the offer to go to a demonstration facial using Elmis products. We really enjoyed this. It was very informative . All of our questions were answered about the products used in the facial. This ended with a glass of Prosecco. After this we headed into the Spa . It is without doubt the best spa we have ever visited. We purchased some Elmis products after our Spa . We left feeling very relaxed and smelling devine. We cant wait to for our next visit.

Hi yes you can. Sometimes I get offers direct from the spa advertising an overnight stay and spa but it might be better value booking a weekend plus the spa and then you could do other things too!! Good luck.

Going to centre parks soon as was thinking of booking a spa day. Are robes still provided. Is it best to get flip flops or is going around barefooted best as I know that I will in and out the pool/treatments rooms for most of the day.

Can you head down to the centre parks centre for food if on a spa day?

I believe you are able to - we visited Bella Italia after one of our spa days before leaving the park - however we always walk home to the car park via the centre just to look in the shops and finish our special day!
Do I have to pay to access the spa If I'm just wanting to use the swimming pool and sauna whilst staying as a guest?

Yes you do, the swimming complex is separate to the spa which is free to use when you want to.

Hi, are there hair straighteners or plugs for us to use for our own hair straighteners in your changing rooms?
Hi
Unfortunately, we do not provide hair straighteners or facilities to use your own in the Aqua Sana changing rooms.
Kind regards

Hi, I'm interested in a spa day package and have a few questions....am I right in thinking that we would also have use of the centre parc facilities for the day as well? Also, could you advise of the nearest b & b/guest house/hotel to the parc? I'm afraid I'm not too keen on the spa breaks which also include an overnight stay at the parc! Thanks for your help

Matt Lowry Carlisle - Yes you can leave the sana when you like and visit the main centre and pool etc as you have paid to enter the park.
