This experience was planned as a memory maker for our 14 year old grandson, Tyler, and it did not disappoint, far exceeding our expectations. The easy online booking was followed up by a telephone call the following day confirming the appointment for the following week and this was followed up by regular reminders by email. Although we arrived a little early on the day we were warmly greeted by members of staff, particularly Mark ? who directed us to our parking space, Chloe at reception who came outside to greet us and Gary, our friendly, informative, patient and funny instructor. We were provided with a choice of hot or cold soft drinks before Gary introduced us to the brand new Range Rover Evoque that was to be the centre of Tyler's world for the next hour. Gary drove us to the test track before he and Tyler swapped seats and he calmly and patiently put both the car and Tyler through their paces. The hour flew by but by the end Tyler was performing death defying feats of driving prowess on the incredible purpose-built course. Upon return to the reception we were provided more refreshments and left to relax in the showroom style area until we were ready to leave. Tyler has already said he wants to do it again for his birthday and again for Christmas and we would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting a thoroughly intense driving experience that doesn't involve the outside world whizzing by in a blur. The Land Rover Experience is incredible value for money and we can't wait to do it again.

I bought the Young Driver Off-Road experience as a Christmas present for my Godson who is about to start driving lessons. When we arrived the venue was a dedicated building with a beautiful reception area. Chloe was waiting for us and welcomed us by name, offered refreshments and really took the time to make us feel welcome and explain how what to expect. The instructor Gary was just a friendly and welcoming and really put us all at ease. On the track Gary was really clear about what my Godson needed to do, Gary was really encouraging and my Godson was able to progress from complete novice to controlling the car, navigating inclines and declines, sharp corners and difficult terrain. The experience really built my Godson's confidence which was the objective. Cannot recommend highly enough for any young driver wanting to get to grips with driving and controlling a car before they start lessons.

This tour was amazing and a must see if you like engineering and cars.
Big thank you to Sean who looked after us and made the tour fun, informative and didn’t mind all the questions.
On the day the line was out of action due to the batteries being late from the supplier, but this did not take away anything from this great tour. Will just have to do it again when the line is up and running.
Thanks also to Chloe for our refreshments.
Hope to see you again soon.

Chloe greeted us gracefully with tea and coffee at their lovely facility. An interesting discussion with Sean about what to expect and some background. Then, into the Defender and Sean was the instructor. A charming and knowledgeable guide who gave my wife and me a wonderful time. We learned a great deal and had a very enjoyable time. We would thoroughly recommend Sean, Chloe and The Land Rover Experience at LIverpool.

Steel to street is a briliant desription of the JLR Factory Tour , before our tour begins in the main reception meet and greet by the loverly Hannah and Chloe who served coffee and buscuits, then a safety talk by our brilliant guide John, after beeing kitted out with our headhones, hi vis jacket etc. we were wisked off in a convoy of veihcles to the begining of our tour, starting in the press shop when the the body panels are pressed and examined, then onto assembly of all the body parts through to assembly and all the welding by more robots that you can count, all the bodies then head to the paint process ( a 10 to 12 hour process ) then onto trim and finish ( cant believe how calm and and quiet it was ) everything arriving at stations just in time for each indrvidual vehicle ( all different specs ) then to marriage when body meet the power train meet , at the end it was fab to see all the gleeming brand new cars having a final check before leaving the building, then a ride back to reception for our final coffee before departing, it was a brilliant day, loved ever minute.

Had a great experience at Land Rover. We were greeted by Chloe who was very hospitable and helpful.
We then had a safer briefing by Reece and then met with Sean who took us out. I had bought this as a present for my partner so as we walked towards a Discovery and not the vehicle I thought I’d booked my heart sank. I mentioned this to Sean who explained that the car I should’ve booked was the Defender, not the Discovery (who knew there was a difference 🤣). Thankfully the Defender was available so we were able to switch.
Sean was extremely knowledgeable and particularly patient when it was my go overcoming my fears and I never once felt worried.
This was a fab day to get to know what the car can do. If you want an experience that chucks you all over the place at speed, this isn’t for you, as Sean explained, LR are not going to have you doing that in a virtually new vehicle.
Thank you Chloe, Sean and Reece for a very professionally run day.

Where to begin, we arrived at the site and was greeted by Chloe with a warm and welcoming smile, we had our details taken and where given complementary drinks (soft of course).
We attended for a half day experience package.
Chloe was a wonderful ambassador for JLR and made us feel welcome from the point of arriving to the point of leaving.
Once there we where introduced to our instructor Sean, he was smiling pleasant and again was an amazing ambassador, the knowledge he had about the vehicles and the capabilities was amazing.
Due to an illness with an instructor(we hope he has made a full recovery) we went out in a defender and another group in a velar we went out in a convoy, this made the experience in my opinion even better and put Seans skills to the test.
This is the second experience I have had and has so far been the best one, my partner and the mother in law attended on this occasion and where both impressed by the overall experience.
The briefing before entering the course was given well and with care.
If anyone is looking for an experience and putting yourself out of your normal limits then this is a course to do, adrenaline filled, my partner has never driven anything this big (defender 110) but through instruction was a natural.
Overall a 10/10 from us and look forwards to returning in the near future.
Chloe thanks for your kindness and communication with the booking and paperwork, Sean thanks for your skill and providing some amazing training and tutoring and there was another lad there but unfortunately I did not get his name.

We did the factory tour today as a family of four and it was amazing. From start to finish we were treated like special guests. I am not a car enthusiast but my son and husband are but I was still amazed by this fantastic british factory. A great afternoon out and Gary who was our guide was superb, very interesting and friendly with everyone.

How far in advance do you have to book a tour to see your own car?. How much do the charge for it?. Thanks

Probably best to check via dealer. Each car is less than a day so timing critical. Halewood like customers watching own car and we had 2 in our group. Well worth watching even if not your actual car, amazing to see sequence of different variants going through. As visitors see the different stages of build you don't see the same car go through all the way anyway.
