I was lucky enough to attend yesterday with 3 friends for the showing of White Christmas. What a lovely afternoon in conjunction with Age Concern Crosby's 70th Birthday celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole afternoon, the buffet was really lovely and the sing a long and film were great.
Congratulations Plaza and Age Concern for making a lot of people very happy!

My wife recently made enquiries about autism nights for our grandson who is 7 so he could visit a cinema for the first time. She was sad to learn that she had missed the monthly event for the film he wanted to watch but was asked to arrive for the nightly showing and they will work something out. On arrival my wife and grandson were greeted by Jan who took them to the upper level, which the staff had somehow managed to have totally reserved the whole level just for them two, both my wife and grandson had a fabulous night.....And all because Martin, Jan and all the volunteers at the Plaza went above and beyond in their efforts to ensure that our grandsons first experience of the big screen was memorable. Can you image any big chain cinema company doing something like this for one special little boy. Hey and the icing on the cake was the price...a fraction compared to the rest...Use this cinema Folks its a real jewel.

Both the staff and the cinema are wonderful, it's a joy to go. The larger, original auditorium is most definitely not to be missed. An amazing place and people, this is why cinemas were called 'Picture Palaces' and audiences loved going. The extremely reasonable ticket prices also mean it's possible to see films 2 or even 3 times a week! Can't believe I hadn't been until a few months ago, now I'm hardly away, it's so lovely! Also, Waterloo station it's only a few minutes walk away. Perfect

My niece and I went to see Where the Crawdads Sing. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful as they always are.
Such good value and a fab film.

Great place to visit. Very reasonable prices and a clean and comfortable place. Would recommend. New films on every week. Staff are volunteers and very friendly. Please give them your support.

Run by volunteers. Funded mainly by donations I believe. So reasonably priced. Ok it’s not the odeon. You don’t get a recliner chair and a Costa but please support them. It’s comfortable, it’s clean, it’s on the doorstop and it doesn’t cost a small fortune like most cinemas. What’s there not to like?

Is there any parking near by ?

Yes there is a small car park for patrons of the cinema to use. It would be advisable to get to the car park early to get a space. There are car parking spaces in side roads from the cinema which at this moment in time do not have permit holders only spaces.

If you ring up, they call you back and take your booking details, then you get a reference number to give in when you arrive and your tickets are printed for you.
