Les taxis de la capitale du Royaume-Uni ont ceci de spécial qu'à l'instar de leurs cousins de couleur jaune de New York, ils sont connus de partout sur la planète, même de ceux qui ne sont jamais allés à Londres...

On le sait, ces véhicules se ressemblent tous.
Leur conception est le fruit d'une seule compagnie qui les produit tous.
Comme ils sont pittoresque avec leur petit dôme illuminé avant marqué du mot TAXI, leur extérieur de couleur noire aux formes arrières arrondies et ce devant où la grille de métal blanc lui donne une allure de petit bulldog anglais...

Propre et bien tenu, leur intérieur est gris avec une bonne banquette arrière. Il y a une cloison de plastique transparent entre le chauffeur et la banquette arrière.
Le chauffeur porte son uniforme et se fait un devoir de connaître la cité et de garder son flegme britannique...

On peut y faire un tour de ville, on peut n'y faire qu'un trajet.
Ce n'est pas gratuit mais c'est pratiquement un incontournable de Londres !

This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! To get to see and learn about London through Michael's tour was amazing. Michael was excellent- he was professional, friendly, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and accommodating! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting London.

Michael is as lovey as the hundreds of reviews I read about him! Absolute professional and true Englishman. Michael is very responsive to email inquiries and incredibly knowledgeable. We saw London from corner to corner and as first timers visiting the city, we had an incredible opportunity to see and learn so much courtesy of Michael’s tour.

Personalized and the informative!

My husband and I visited London for the first time and wanted to see select sites while learning about the history. In addition we wanted a personalized tour. Michael fit the bill! He was prompt, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We were also able to end our tour at an old pub that Michael recommended and both the ambiance and food were fabulous. Michael even handled the reservation for the pub. Thank you!!!

Quick and Informative Tour

Our tour with Michael was great. Although the weather was not very cooperative. It was very rainy and cold actually but we were only in London this time for 24 hours. With his 2 hour tour we were able to see a lot of the major sights in a short amount of time. We were able to stop when we wanted to take pictures. He also provided our son with a booster seat which was great! We have been to London before but learned so much more about this city on this tour. Definitely lives up to the high ratings!

Amazing Tour with Michael!!!

We did an absolutely amazing tour with Michael today. He is the consummate professional, very engaging, very knowledgeable and just delightful! Our tour was impeccable from beginning to end. Very organized, very thorough and absolutely worth every minute. Thank you Michael..you’re a class act!!! You made our stay in London so much more enjoyable.

AMAZING!!! SUPERB!! WONDERFUL!!!

I was skeptical about booking Michael online through Tripadvisor because of constant online scams, but after reading tons of reviews and contacting him myself, I'm so glad I booked him. My grandmother cannot walk long distances, so I was looking for a tour guide with a car that she could easily get in and out of, and that would also be accessible to her. Not only was Michael a fantastic tour guide, but he gave so many suggestions on where to go, and he would park or drive around the block continuously if we wanted to pull over and take pictures. He is extremely organized, humorous, and so kind. He really went out of his way to help me and my family enjoy our time in London. He even booked us at a historic pub at the end of our tour so we could enjoy an authentic English dinner. I would highly recommend him if you are traveling in London. He's absolutely amazing!

Easy way to see London in a short amount of time

I booked this tour because I only had about 8 hours in London and wanted to see as much as I could in the short amount of time. Micheal was great to work with and it started with great communication right after I booked my tour. He was professional and easy to work with as I wanted to be picked up at the train station because I was coming in on the train from Heathrow. Micheal was very thorough throughout the tour in pointing out landmarks and things to do. He provided additional materials about the city at the end of the tour. Highly recommend this tour for someone with limited time in London!

London at its best!

We experienced the tour of a lifetime with Michael. He took our wish list after several emails back and forth over many months then blended it along with his expertise of the city (and its history) to make this morning exceptionally memorable. He is the epitome of professionalism and good humor. He hosted us for a four hour tour that included all the must see's of London plus a few more off the beaten path sites for this history lover's wish list. His recommendation for lunch was superb as the pub was beyond adorable and the food fabulous. He genuinely values his customer's time and was considerate of our well being for learning about the city, offering frequent restroom stops and working in being able to step out of the taxi to see sites up close and more personal. While this tour was a condensed one, it was a perfectly timed one to see as much of the city as one can given the extensive list of options available to experience London. Do yourself a favor and tour with London Black Taxi Tours. It is London at its best and Michael is BEYOND TOP NOTCH. Thank you Micheal for taking such good care of us. We will cherish our time in the city because of your considerations and suggestions.
