Well it would be nice to actually see the pitch. Rubbish view. Oh and away fans apparently don't need toilets... Over officious stewards. Made to feel like an inferior being.

Was in the away end for Palace V Leeds and it has ranked as the worst away day ever. In the 24 years I’ve been a Leeds fan I’ve experienced many Championship and League One grounds so that is saying something!
On arrival the away fans were rammed into a really small area similar to a cattle pen with no room to get to the toilets. We thought ‘F that’ and headed to the stands to find our seats but signage was poor.
Once we found our seats we realised we could hardly see anything as the stand isn’t steep enough. This got worse as stewards allowed more and more people to congregate in the aisle.
I saw very little of the match considering my view was of around 20% of the pitch and it was impossible to see the goals.
All in all, a dreadful experience and not one I would either repeat or recommend!

Booked hospitality for Palace v Brentford
Staff couldn’t have done more for us, so hospitable, friendly and attentive.
Food was buffet style with chicken supreme, potatoes and veg, fish and cold cuts.
I was very excited to try their Palace ale which was great!
Only criticism and this isn’t anything to do with lounge staff was that none of the stewards knew where the legends restraint/exec boxes were and we asked about 7!

For the away fan you’ve literally got the smallest bar with no space around it and it was chaos ! Gave up trying to go at half time. Ground is very old and in need of work . Can’t believe this is a Premiership stadium . Home fans were silent apart from One very small section at the far end, rest of them may aswell been asleep .

Wooden seats, terrible views. Quiet home fans with an annoying small group of imitation European football supporters. Their is a Sainsburys in one of the stands which was a highlight.
Poor transport access in a rather grim area. Was very far out from London. Near Croydon. Did the stadium tour, some of the worst facilities I have ever seen. The trophy cabinet was also significantly lacking.

First time back here for about 5 years but have been coming here to watch West Ham since the early 80’s, about 10 visits or so.
It’s an old school ground despite having at least two new stands since I first came and has a good atmosphere if not a bit “happy-clappy” home fans.
Slightly restricted view right in the corner about 20 rows back but I enjoyed being at a proper football ground rather than our 60,000 filled soul-less bowl. Not much room behind the away stand and facilities are pretty grim but I guess that’s part of the experience.
It’s a nightmare to get to if you’re from north of the river but I’ll keep coming back to remember what old grounds are like.

Ziemlich altes Stadion, unkoordinierter Eingang, enge Sitzplätze, kaum Beinfreiheit, Menschen über 1,80m haben ihre Probleme, gleichzeitig muss man hoffen, dass keine Menschen über 1,90 m vor einem sitzen, da dadurch die Sicht versperrt wird. Außerdem hat man keinen Blick auf die Anzeigentafel.
Nun zum Positiven: überragende Stimmung für englische Verhältnisse, war ein gutes Spiel, Anfahrt war relativ einfach, der Weg von der U-Bahn-Station ausgeschildert, Verpflegung relativ günstig.
Fazit:
Zusammengefasst war das ein gutes Erlebnis, die negativen Punkte kleine Makel, die nicht außerordentlich störten, würde jedoch das nächste Mal Plätze näher am Spielfeld buchen, damit ich alles im Blick habe.

I was invited to a corporate box to watch Palace v Brighton and had a great evening. The armosphere was excellent, the box was good and the food very good. I would love to go sgain.

There are some contenders; Burnley is in a poor area and their away allocation is unacceptable. Everton are overdue a new stadium but it's a classic stadium with a good capacity. Wolves is a bit grim, away support spread over the length of the pitch but at least they give you 3,000.
Access to Palace from the north is not ideal but that's not their fault. The surrounding area isn't great but again, that''s where they are. The most annoying thing is the chaos inside, cramped conditions everywhere you go. The signage is poor and a massive stanchion in front of us, apparently not a restricted view.
The best things about the stadium are the eagle and the cheerleaders. At least they're making an effort.
I should add that security failed to stop an absolute whopper from getting in to the ground with 2 flares. The idiot is stood there, so pleased with himself, gassing his fellow supporters. Eventually someone came over but he wasn't carted out.

going to Selhurst Park soon as an away fan, heard the Albert West stand is not the best for views, other than avoiding the back rows, what are the best rows to sit in to avoid the support posts and have a decent view. thanks
