A nice selection of beers, cask and keg. Good atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff, willing to let you taste beers before buying. Great service from the ever cheerful, personable Wayne! A quality establishment!

Had post-work beverages here with colleagues. Was chaotic, loud and fun; good list of spirits, beers and pub food. Not a stand out venue but still good!

Lively, spacious pub. Went on Friday night for drinks but were served quickly and space to stand at bar. Lovely Sauvignon blanc.

This is a brilliant place to grab a drink with friends. I found some really nice craft beers available, a brilliant pale ale. It's got a little roof terrace at the back and seating outside the front.

Friday early evening meal

We went to The Fox to catch up with some old friends, two of whom we hadn't seen in almost a year. I know it was Friday evening but the place was packed and SO noisy that it was very difficult to hear each other, even though the six of us were seated around one table. The Real ales were good though pricey - but we are in London - and the keg/craft beers even more so. The food was typical 'pub grub'.

Utter chaos

I can only describe this place as chaotic.

It started with table mayhem. To the point where people had put so many tables together, no-one could get passed to get in or out of the pub. Genius. Oh - and despite being really full, parents were letting children take over additional tables for arts and crafts.

Then there was the huge menu of pub grub made to sound fancy - except there was nothing left by 3pm. But instead of wiping off the board, instead they just kept coming back to tell us that each thing we'd ordered was actually no longer available. Over and over again.

Then there was the staff... Forgotten orders (it was a round of 2), not knowing how to pour a gin, throwing straws into drinks in a huff and spilling the drinks everywhere to otherwise odd (slightly creepy) behaviour.

Unfortunately it was all topped off by the most terrible acoustics I've ever experienced - to the point where I'm now sat writing this review because I genuinely can't hear the people next to me. Shame.

Maybe Sunday is just not a great day for this place...

Very nice food

This is a dog friendly pub with great beer and delicious food. It was quite busy when we visited one evening during the Christmas celebrations but they reserved a table for us. My companion requested a quiet corner but we were situated close to a large party. Despite that I enjoyed my short stay at the Fox and would highly recommend. The place had a great vibe.

Nice place where you can try some good local beer. It can be a bit packed but there is a good atmosphere. The beer (and cider) selection is big enough and will suit all tastes.

I used to love their food :(
They use to cook the best halloumi burguers in east london... I don't know what happen but the last time i went It wasn't as good anymore...

Great beers & atmosphere, noisy, beware the keg price list!

Some wonderful uncommon real ales - breweries available on my visit included Fyne, Arbor, Halletts, SWB. Cider on hand pump as well. Also plenty of keg beers from the same and similar - prominence is given to the keg price list with its alarmingly high prices - the real ales are about 25% cheaper so don't be put off when you first look at the large board behind the bar!

One large room - quite atmospheric when the pub's not too busy. When it IS busy the bare floor and walls coupled with the shape of the room make it very noisy and hard to hear your companions. Eclectic mix of customers, friendly and helpful staff. Also has a small but pleasant roof terrace - handy if you want to talk when the pub's packed!!!

Great little place - I'll be back!
