ฉันมาที่นี่กับเพื่อนเพื่อตรวจสอบและเป็นตลาดที่น่าประทับใจจริงๆ! เรารักพิซซ่าของ Van Dough - อร่อยและหลากหลายอาหารเพื่อตอบสนองทุกรสนิยม ม้านั่งจำนวนมากให้นั่งกิน มันแพงไปหน่อย แต่พิซซ่าก็คุ้มค่า!

I loved this place

I came here with a friend to check it out and it is a really impressive market! We loved Van Dough’s pizza- truly delicious and a wide variety of food to cater for all tastes. Lots of benches to sit and eat. It is slightly on the expensive side, but the pizza was worth it!

underwhelming, over priced

The food trucks were super expensive (£9 for a curry & rice dish) and, when I went, not a massive amount of choice either. Maybe there will be more choice in the Spring/Summer? The market itself was ok but I feel like I could have got everything they sell from my local health food shop. It all felt very privileged.

Great place to buy quality food

When here the weekend before Christmas and I was so pleasantly surprise. Good quality is incredible, totally worth the money. I'll come back.

毎週土曜にあるマーケット。ラップサンドやコーヒーの屋台や、野菜、果物、チーズ、加工肉、魚、花屋など、バリエーション豊かな出店です。規模は小さめですが、地元の人が週末の買い物に来ているようなローカル感があり、お昼頃にはなると結構賑わっています。

Good local market

As my local market, I love it. Not sure I would make a real effort to come, and if i did I would save it for a day with good weather. It has a good mix of stalls with produce to buy and stalls serving food. Food on offer usually includes of mexican stall, burger stall, flatbread wraps, sub club van (outstanding, but pricey), and recently a jerk stall too. Stalls to purchase food are wide ranging: veg, fruit, pastries, fish, cheese (including cheese made in brockley) and flavours of spain. Now that there are new tables with benches, it makes it a plesant place to sit and eat.

Firstly this is not in Brockley, it's between Lewisham and New Cross.

A few over priced food stalls that look like they could do with being refrigerated.

My advice is to stay on the train to London Bridge and go to Borough Market.

A grotty old car park with a few rickety stalls or vans.

Delicious market!

We often visit on a Saturday to buy anyting from veg, some wonderful cheeses, london craft beers, cured meats and breads! The atmosphere here is nice (slightly pretencious sometimes... but that can be easily overlooked) and most (if not all- but not sure) is local or at least British. Now they have the long tables set out, it's always nice to make the most of the varied food stands and have some lunch! Parking is fairly easy too around the market- don't get here too late though as it's a popular place and they sell out of things early sometimes.

Wonderful produce BUT......

Exceptional Farmers Market which I/we have been to several times in the past year as we have family nearby and we all enjoy excellent quality produce. Happy 😃

Here are some tasters.......

Potatoes stall (from Kent) has over 20 home grown varieties each week and charming stallholder is knowledgable about each one. Try Mayan Gold! 😋

Butter from Kent (Hook & Son) is unpasteurised & unsalted if you prefer, and who needs cheese if you have great butter? 😋

Fantastic 81 day old chicken from Fosse Meadows Farm #fossefarm in Leicestershire is an amazing experience, especially marinaded in bay, lemon & garlic. DELICIOUS! 😋

Wonderful almond croissants from the sourdough stall, worth every penny if the £3 cost. 😋

BUT if you buy the sourdough flûte, make sure you check how cooked it is. I didn’t, and it was really dry and over cooked. Unfortunately, £2.30 wasted. ☹️

We stopped here only briefly on a very cold Saturday. We were quite lucky to find on street parking on the same road. There is a good selection of food, something for everyone. There were stands selling meat, cheese, scotch eggs, beer, brownies and pasta. Then vans selling hot food like gourmet burgers and pizza. The market has a lovely lively atmosphere and there are plenty of benches to sit down and enjoy the food.

Eye-opening!

Taken by our son on a Saturday morning and enjoyed a fascinating hour wandering among the stalls. Lots of fresh, and usually organic, produce to buy and several places selling different kinds of food. We bought steak from The Butchery, excellent, but expensive, sourdough bread, heritage tomatoes, specialty cheeses and had a beer from the Beer Shop accompanied by flatbread stuffed with spicy lamb shoulder and luxury ham baps. It’s not cheap but you don’t have to buy anything (if you can resist) and just watching is great fun.
