Great fun for all

Mackenzie was a really entertaining and knowledgable guide! We went as a large group and Mackenzie was really responsive and helpful in arranging this. A really enjoyable group activity which was a good mix of history and spooky!

What a great 90 mins. Dan was not only knowledgeable but also a brilliant story-teller. Took us to back streets and snickleways that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Can thoroughly recommend Shadows of York.

Shadows of York Ghost Tour
Joined the tour tonight, thoroughly enjoyable even on a cold night like tonight. Dan was very knowledgeable and made the experience even better with his theatrics. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting York to give it a try whether you are a believer or not. 10/10

Excellent historical ghost walk. Dan, our tour guide was a great storyteller, informative, knowledgeable and very funny. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting York.

Loved the whole experience - some chilling tales and visceral historical facts. Dan was a legend and genuinely funny; particularly liked the story up from the black swan pub about the resident ghosts

Fantastic tour at a fantastic price. Well worth the money. I was really looking forward to this as it was recommended. Dan's theatrical manner really bought the stories to life.

Excellent Experience

We loved stories which relates back to the history of York. McKenzie was very knowledgeable and was able relate back to her paranormal experience.

The ability to grab the attention of many is a talent in itself. To keep everyone interested and have a group that was engaging was a good experience.

We would recommend Shadows of York to anyone who wants to know the history of York.

Amazing, one of the highlights of our trip at York! The guide was great at story-telling, she made it entertaining and made sure we know our directions by the end of the tour. It started and finished right on time. I advise it to anyone going to York, even more so close to spring time as it can get a bit chilly!

Great experience with my husband and 19 year old daughter who is studying in York. Took in lots of different places with interesting and knowlegable commentry.
