Poor park and live local full of alcoholics and drug users and students not like it was years ago , also litter bags full and locked at night

Better than expected. Nice well maintained paths. Plenty of colour. Pond and avairy. There is a fantastic cafe with lots of cakes to choose from and friendly staff.

It's a lovely little park and nice for a wander. It's well-landscaped and maintained. I also enjoyed the parrots. It's a small park.

I visited here with my kids, on a short city break to Nottingham, this is a lovely green space for kids to run around and explore. Lovely pond with ducks and statues to visit. There are also some geocaches in the park

Its a basic park , small cafe down the bottom. Nice place to sit on a sunny day, small duck pond and some random parakeet's on a cage ?

What a real surprise! Jewel in the crown!
Visiting in early spring with Snowbells and very early blossom. Only a 10 minute walk from the main centre. Trees, scrubs and a pool with ducks ... middle of Nottingham. A delight in a brick and concrete world. A chill zone.

Hi how far from Nottingham train station is the arboretum please I'm thinking of making a visit around middle of June with my family but we rely on public transport so would be travelling on train first and which way would be better to get there after getting off the train please n would this be a nice place to sit n have a picnic with family of adults n children please thanks

Get the tram which is through the station towards pheonix park or hucknall and get off at the arboretum. It is a great place for a family picnic

Yes, it’s ideal for a picnic.
Depending on your mum’s mobility it is walkable from the city centre; probably 20 to 30 minutes.
