We had a box with friends for the boxing. The view is great, as the arena is smaller than O2 or others, you are much closer to the action. The staff are charming and attentive. Pizza is a worthwhile choice to go alongside the plentiful bar.
Perhaps a TV showing the fight/other sport would be a good addition.

Awful hospitality running out of food

For an all day event (netball superleague opener) it was utterly diabolical that every franchise in the arena ran out of food/stopped taking food orders by 1.30pm. We queued for 30 mins to be told they were no longer taking orders, moved on to the next outlet, queued for 20 mins to be told the same thing and this happened a third time. Awful hospitality.

Horrendous food and drink queues and availability. Good for sporting events if you don’t want to eat or drink!

Good sports venue but totally underprepared and inadequate food availability! We queued for 30 minutes at one stall to be told after other customers were complaining that they’d been waiting over an hour that they had run out of chips… from the Fish and Chip stand. Then another 40 minute queue to be told most of the menu was gone and only two things were left from a different one. It was chaos that was handled by staff extremely badly. They stated they didn’t anticipate the need for food at lunchtime for a sell out event that lasted all day! Truly shocking! Would not recommend going here if it’s over lunch or dinner time!

Great venue - but freezing cold !!!!

Used this venue many times as it is local to us
As always staff friendly and efficient.
Food and drink a bit pricy but to be expected in this type of venue.
On this occasion we found it to be very cold (never had this issue previously) ……. We were sat on floor seating and while I know this is an ice area I have never felt so cold at an indoor event - everyone around was complaining and had to put coats back on, it literally did feel like my feet were blocks of ice - maybe they’ve just had their gas bill and decided to turn off the heating

Not really a fan of Arena type venues, give me Rock City any day, Billy Bragg with the main event being Paul Heaton & standing tickets available, what not to like, got a cracking front of stage view, will get another visit if standing is available 👍

Excellent venue

Went to see Kaiser Chiefs and were more than impressed with the performance. Full of energy and were excellent at including the audience as part of the overall experience. The welcoming staff were very friendly and helpful offering assistance if needed. Seats were comfortable and the view of the stage was excellent. Price of tickets was a bargain for such a fabulous evening, watching the Sherlocks, The Fratellis and the Kaiser Chiefs. Fully recommend the venue - easy access to parking close by.

Maybe update surrounding parking info on the website.......two nearby locations are now building sites.....saw many visitors to the Jake bugg concert driving round and round trying to find the now non existent parking lots.
