I bought a groupon for my friend's birthday and she invited me along too. We were so disappointed. It took 45 minutes for 2 cocktails to arrive, infact the food arrived first. There were no plates, even though we asked for some. It was unhygienic to eat the rice with us both dipping our forks in. We also noticed that people who arrived after us were served before us. There were no chicken wings so the menu was limited. The food was ok but all drizzled with chilli sauce. We didn't kick up a fuss but we certainly won't be going back again. We would have had more cocktails and spent more money but really couldn't wait to get out and so spent our money elsewhere. First impressions awful.

You not only get to enjoy the sights and sounds, but you also know there are always new and exciting food adventures waiting for you. Tasty and delicious tapas from wings ,spicy savoury and sticky to spring rolls samosa’s. And my porn star martini and mini Prosecco ( don’t know where the porn star was 😉🤣) was yummy so was my friends Long Island cocktail 👌❤️❤️❤️

Food cooked at high standard.Cocktails completed by experience cocktails staff. Presentation was great. Place clean and staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice place to catch up with friends and family.

Waited over an hour for 4 drinks after 90 mins food still hadn’t arrived. One was a bottle, one was wrong and the others tasted like pure lemon juice.Had to leave for a funeral. So paid for food we didn’t have, now refusing to refund!! AVOID

After waiting 30 minutes for the food, it appeared the food arrived at the wrong table and had to be brought back. So waited another 10 minutes, the drinks arrived like 1 minute before the food.
Once the food arrived, there was a chicken combi missing, so they brought us just the chicken skewers (combi should have included fries and plantain), the food was great so just put up with it.
The jerk wings and plantain were really nice.
We used a Groupon, which was good value so despite the service slip ups we'll probably be back.

My partner and I went to the new Wax Bar location and it was incredible! The chicken wings are to die for and the cocktails were delicious. We will 100% be back and would highly recommend to anyone else considering a visit!

I honestly don't know where to begin with this review. I do not have a bad thing to say about Wax bar! It is where I spend most of my time (and money!!!!!), the service is incredibly given by knowledgeable and friendly staff and the venue itself is quirky and fun! The smoke machine adds a nice touch on weekends! It's the perfect place for a drink in the week or weekend!
