We went in there to have a drink before we went to Oxford Christmas Market. The staff and atmosphere is pleasant. The only strange thing is having mirrors in the cubicles of the ladies bathroom which I do not understand but it is so close to Westgate too.

Great pub, food and atmosphere. Would rather go here than a certain chain of pubs any day. Barman was so helpful and friendly.

We’ve been there a couple of days ago and had a really nice time. We ordered some burgers that were delicious and affordable and the bartender were very kind, asking every time how was everything and having a nice chat with us. We had a really nice experience and will definitely go back and recommend it!

We visited on Tuesday night for drinks during a pub crawl. The pub was pretty much empty which was concerning but then it was only a Tuesday eve. We stayed for a few drinks as the prices were reasonable and they played good music. Would visit again.

Went in on a Monday 2 o’clock ish one person serving got drinks and ordered food it arrived was ok 8/10 then ordered puddings I ordered a salted caramel pudding it was lemon I went to bar different person he was very rude told me it was definitely caramel he knew as he had eaten one well he hadn’t eaten mine and it was definitely lemon no can I change it I’m sorry good job I didn’t have a lemon allergy

while xmas shopping we decided to have lunch here the pub is very clean and has modern décor the staff were very friendly, there is a varied menu including veggie meals they have the normal beverages on draught and a good selection of bottled drinks the food was good pub grub at affordable prices
