Our favourite part was riding through the lovely black and white villages along quiet country lanes, albeit we often had to negotiate potato tractors! The hotels we stayed in were also superb - especially the pancakes on the menu at Ye Old Salutation! The rest of the menu wasn’t too bad either!

My partner and I had a great weekend on the Black & White villages tour. Over three days we cycled through beautiful medieval villages on quiet country roads surrounded by apple orchards. Our overnight accommodation in Weobley was fantastic and served wonderful food. We’d highly recommend Wheely Wonderful!

Wonderful holiday and extended family cycle for 10 of us (ages 18 to 65). We did the Lon Las Cymru Mid Wales trip, had a great time exploring the beautiful countryside, friendly watering places and excellent eateries! The trip was flawlessly organised for us by Kay and Chris who have a genuine enthusiasm for their business and obviously care deeply that their customers have a good time. There was no fuss, just a focus on enjoyment and a feeling that no request would be too much trouble (even offered to come and 'save' us if we got into trouble - although this was not needed, it was reassuring to know!).

We love welcoming cyclists on family reunions. Cycling and exploring are great activities to do together, with, we hope, lots of good memories. We try and design the holidays so that there is lots to do for all tastes, especially on days when cycling is "optional". Thanks for posting the review, and we hope that you all keep cycling and come back and see us sometime in the future!

I really enjoyed the 3 day Lion and Salutation tour in north Herefordshire The route was easy to follow, everything was well organised and the accommodation like the countryside was lovely. My bag was waiting for me when I arrived each day and the bike was comfortable and well maintained. Kay and Chris are to be commended on their operation. I'd definitely consider using Wheely Wonderful again.

What great photos of the medieval dovecot in the pretty village of Eardisland and the cider mill.... a reminder of the great cider that Herefordshire produces. (Hope you had a chance to sample the cider) Thanks for taking the time to post a review and send some photos and we were so pleased you had a great time.

My brother in law and I cycled The Hereford Gardens Tour the last week in August. This is my third tour with WWC, and as always Kay and Chris offer a fantastic service from start to finish! Their hybrid cycles work well and the itinerary is very accurate and informative. The accommodations offered were top notch! The scenery in Shropshire/Wales is really wonderful and the weather was perfect, so what more can you ask for? We plan to be back, maybe already next year.

It was lovely to welcome you back for a cycling holiday in "indian summer" weather. The Herefordshire Gardens (especially Hergest Croft) were just beginning to get their autumn colours...and everywhere was providing great food and drink as the harvest was being brought in. Good to hear you want to explore more, look forward to seeing you next year.

What a 'wheely' fantastic way to spend a few days!! My 2 friends and I booked the Wye Valley Cycle Tour and what an experience it was. Chris and Kay were amazing. We got detailed information about what to bring and route guides by email and Kay answered our questions promptly. They are so friendly and encouraging and when we needed a little rescue on the road due to a brake and chain failure ( mostly my fault!) they came the the side of the road and fixed it in record time! The accommodation they arranged for us in Hay-on-Wye was excellent and the owner of the Firs guest house went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well fed - amazing Welsh breakfasts!
I cannot recommend highly enough - novice or experienced riders will all enjoy this beautiful route, rolling hills ( with the occasional more challenging incline) and plenty of tea shops make this the perfect holiday on your bike!

My wife and I went on the Herefordshire Gardens circuit in July. There was an initial hiccup with the accommodation on the first night but that was quickly rectified by Kay & Chris. The cycling stages were organised to suit our capabilities and we really enjoyed using the bike as a means of getting somewhere we wanted to go rather than just clocking up the miles. The accommodation was first class, especially so at Mellington House, and there was a secure lockup for our bike at each location. The weather was kind and the views were wonderful.

Love the photo... just goes to show that the gardens you pass by in the tiny villages on this route are just as good as the showpiece gardens of Hergest Croft, Brobury house, Westonbury Water gardens and Croft Castle. It was lovely to meet you and your wonderful tandem. Many thanks for posting this review.

Possibly the best partners you can ask for for a cycling holiday in Wales. Thanks Kay & Chris for being the best support we could have asked for in this perfectly planned cycling holiday. Great places to say and the best bikes. Go Electric!

What a wonderful few days! 4 of us embarked on a 3 day trip, which involved 2 days of cycling and one of canoeing on the River Wye! The cycling was suitably challenging for all levels of cyclist and the canoeing was a fun way to enjoy the delights of the River, with the draw of an ice cream in Hay.
The route was super-well planned by the organisers Kay and Chris, they were great with their contact at all stages of the process from inception to completion. The added bonus was an easy-to-use booklet with the stages of the route, which allowed us to easily navigate the course, stay off the main roads and see some wonderful sites along the way. It also had some fabulous suggested stops for coffee, beer, snacks and bigger meals.
The accommodation was excellent, the Lion Hotel was great, despite it being the hottest day of the year. The Mellington House in Weobley was an absolutely awesome place to stay, the rooms were really quiet, homely and the hosts were super, with breakfasts that were yummy from the butchers across the road.
I would highly recommend the trip that we did, which was 50km on the first day, 35km on the 2nd and then 9km canoeing. It was also very good value and if you don't use your own bikes, the one's that they use are suitable for the challenge. You definitely don't want to try the route with a road bike though!

We completely agree with you (well, we would, wouldn't we) our Cycling and Canoeing holiday is just a great way to explore Herefordshire and the Welsh borders. on extremely quiet country lanes. But the icing on the cake is the places you stay; we have worked with The Lion Hotel and Mellington house for many years - they just provide a perfect welcome to our guests. Thanks for taking the time to post the review and hope to see you again for another cycle adventure

Four of us pensioners decided on a cycling and canoeing break and this fitted the bill perfectly. Everything was very well organised and we had a wealth of information.
Our weekend was during the extreme heatwave! We enjoyed cycling through the countryside and canoeing on the Wye despite the weather. Mellington House B and B was super. Thanks to Wheely Wonderful we had a great time and much hilarity when not cursing the heat!
