So glad you enjoyed your painting workshop with me.. everyone had fantastic results ! Its always lovely for me to see everyone gaining their confidence as the workshop progresses! As you saw in class - there is no need to be able to draw in order to be able to paint! That is something that puts off many people even having a go...I'm always being told " but I can't even draw a straight line" my reply is "nor me" as long as you can hold a brush you will be fine! Thanks for your lovely review Gemma..I'm so glad you all enjoyed your workshop... You have proved what I always tell future students --"you don't need to be able to draw in order to paint!" It puts many people off thinking they won't be able to do it! But drawing is a different skill to painting and it really does not matter if you can't draw a straight line! Everyone had beautiful paintings at the end of it... I love seeing the smiling faces as everyone adds more and more to their masterpiece. My system of demonstrating just tiny ,tiny chunks of the painting at a time makes it so easy for people to do--and everyone gets their confidence very quickly! We had a mix of first timers and some who had been several times before though you would never know from the results. The workshops are good value for money--and I have not put up the prices for 12 years now and intend keeping them down for the next year at least. We will look forward to seeing you again xxx

Because the workshops are run with tiny steps there is not much chance of going wrong... and I also show you what not to do,, and then show you how to correct it if you do happen to do it.. Thank you for your review Belinda, so glad you enjoyed your day out painting with me.. We have had a few hen party workshops--great fun it was too.. We have a group of ladies coming in Nov for their Christmas 'do' they will be bringing wine with them so it will be a great day--and no nerves from them after a glass or two! re the cost of the workshops... I have not actualy put up the price of the workshops for nearly 12 years--since I started running them in fact! Most of the workshops are £35 which includes all the materials, canvas, brushes, paint, tuition and as much tea,coffee and biscuits that you want! You can bring a packed lunch or order some and Bill collects it from the nearby cafe for you.. A few of the workshops are £40 and £45 due to the fact the canvas are more expensive because they are bigger and also we need to hire the room for longer as they take longer to paint! I will not be increasing my prices in 2016 either as I want Painting My Way to be affordable to as many people as possible... Every year the canvas prices go up at least twice, along with all the other bits and bobs that we have to buy,,,but as I am kept busy with all you lovely students Im happy to swallow up the extra costs myself.. thank you again for your lovely comments-- hope to see you again sometime in the future Diane x

It is very satisfying for me to watch the smiles on peoples faces as the day goes on.. and what beautiful results you all had too..
