A truly incredible bar. I've been coming here for the last few years or so. It's always been a great experience.
The drinks are well-made: not super-pricey and there's always something for everyone.
The preset team of Adam, Dan, Dylan, George, and Louis are great people with a breadth and depth of knowledge, and incredibly charming and friendly.
What makes a bar great?
The people? ✔️
The drinks? ✔️
The vibe? ✔️
Subtle Attention to detail? ✔️
Atmosphere? ✔️
That feeling of contentment and happiness from being there? ✔️✔️✔️
There's lots I haven't mentioned. This is probably one of the most well-stocked whisky bars in the country. And that means that I have tried many whiskeys that are simply out of my reach at an affordable price.
Out of reach because they are limited releases.
Out of reach because most places would charge a lot more.

Great spot. Atmosphere is off the charts. Quaint, well appointed whiskey bar. These guys are true professional bar men. Their signature drinks are some of the finest in town. Check out Piggie Smalls

This is my favourite cocktail bar in Bath. My husband am I try to visit when we can. The cocktails served are always tasty (even the mocktails!) And the staff are always welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the drinks they serve. Wish we still lived in Bath so we could visit more often!

What an incredible venue. The bar itself is tucked away, cool decor, funky music and a really wonderful friendly vibe. The Hideout is a whiskey and cocktail bar, and the range of different whiskey's was so impressively extensive. But what really sets this place apart is the staff.
They all seemed to share incredible knowledge of the drinks they serve, and are happy to share that knowledge with the customer. They were friendly, warm, fun and attentive, but never intrusive. I cannot recommend this venue enough. An absolute gem!

Over 200 bottles of whiskey at the back of the bar. But wow, they make a mean negroni, they can make any cocktails you want. Small and compact bar, probably you can sit outside in the summer, January is a bit cold!

This place was amazing. It was recommended by a friend and I couldn't have had a better time. The staff were amazing, especially Adam who went out of his way to explain every whisky he brought out. The whole experience was well worth it and the whiskys were phenomenal. Highly recommend!

We found this whisky bar by chance, we had gone down into the restaurant area to have a sandwich and noticed the whisky bar next door.
We went there that evening and then again the next 2 nights
We tried lots of different whiskies, including a flight of Indian whisky and a number of coctails
It gets really busy and teh atmosphere is part time
The waiteress and different waiter we had were very informative and introduced us to a number of new whiskies

Popped in on a whim and it was amazing! Dog friendly which is a bonus, the guys behind the bar were super friendly and knowledgeable, probably our favourite bar of our visit

We came to Bath tonight to see Anastacia in concert, and afterwards looked up places to go, we love whiskey and, after seeing the Google blurb about this place saying they had extensive single malts, off we went. It was a cozy little place and we had a very warm welcome from Dan and Adam. They are both exemplary employees and very friendly, however Adam had extensive knowledge about whiskey and suggested some amazing whiskeys which we really enjoyed. I'm sure the cocktails are great also but the whiskey selection is extensive if you love single malt. We will definitely return if we are ever in Bath. Thank you so much Adam and Dan, it was fab!

So glad you came to us after your gig and your weren't "Sick and Tired" of being out in Bath. Dan and Adam are a fantastic pair and I'm sure Adam was very happy dropping his whisky knowledge!
