It's free which is good and it has toilets.
It also has 3 rooms which we couldn't enter. Think stand at the door and view the empty room.

Attended an event at the assembly rooms. The building is beautiful but the event was made so much more special by the brilliant staff. From Allan the host / manager for the evening and his team of VSAs - who kept us organised and on Track - to Felix the functions manager and his lovely team. Can’t thank you enough for everything

This was slightly disappointing, the website is unhelpful and you never know if all the rooms are open it being used that day. The rooms are magnificent if you can get access to them. The fashion museum in the basement is good.

I was unsure of what to expect of the Assembly Rooms but I am beyond glad that I visited. Each of the rooms are gorgeous however, the chandeliers are possibly the stars of the show! Visit the rooms where Georgian balls were held (and Bridgerton was filmed!). Take advantage of free entry for Bath residents and students

Stepping into these beautiful rooms was like being transported to the era Jane Austen wrote about. The audio guide was particularly helpful in imagining the social life of Bath 200 years ago.

Check it is actually open before you visit! I planned a one day tour of Bath with a 4pm stop at the Assembly Rooms as the NT website states they are open until 5pm. On arrival I was told the last entry to the fashion museum is at 4pm so I could not visit the Assembly Rooms! I just had time before my train left this morning to climb back up to the Assembly Rooms only to be told they are shut for two days for a function. I wish I had been told that yesterday. Having paid £5 to leave my luggage near the station rather than drag it up Lansdown Road, I was too annoyed to pay another £10 to visit the fashion museum. Very disappointed but the lesson is to telephone to check first. Be warned!

It's free to enter whether you have NT membership or not. Have to pay for the fashion museum. Lovely architecture. Shame they weren't set out for an event but still worth a look

not a lot to see here but the fashion museum is just downstairs and I think entry to one gets you entry to both

Can you please tell me what admission costs are for the assembly rooms? Also, do these need to be pre-booked or can we purchase on the day? This will not be as part of a tour hence I am trying to get as much information before arriving as possible.
