Great pub just off the High Street. Daniel was very welcoming. Open fire was a big bonus .

This is a lovely little pub just off the High Street which offers a good selection of beers and a warm welcome. The landlord is a friendly chap who tries to ensure that all who visit enjoy themselves. Would definitely recommend.

Under new management, they’ve done an excellent job cleaning the place up. Good selection of real ales, lagers, wines, and spirits. Lots of TVs for sport and a nice selection of music which isn’t too loud.

Four of us entered empty pub around 1.30pm and despite being only customers, had to cough loudly at the bar to get either of the two barmen to look up from their busying; one counting money and the other doing some sort of paperwork.
Asked what my guests were drinking and on hearing "Amstel" mentioned, one of them grunted that it as off before turning his back and resuming task.
No customer service, welcome, engagement so we just turned and left to celebrate a birthday elsewhere.
Awful!

Most obnoxiously rude pair or barmen I've ever encountered!
Four of us entered a completely empty pub today and ordered drinks and after one of them had grunted that first choice of beer wasn't available, they then continued with the chores in hand, (counting till monies and opening a bag of limes,) so we all left immediately....

I had the pleasure of meeting Max and he was Polite to everyone in my group made sure everyone was happy I would recommend this pub to anybody that comes to this city or around around Somerset

great atmosphere but in recent bathroom renovations the mirror in the girls toilet has been removed which is a real inconvenience
