Sadly this wonderful tearoom shop has closed down. Too Many Cook sand The Dorking Deli are both near by. Mullins is a good choice too although the coffee is better imho at the first two. Dorking needs visitors please come to town anyway!

I tend to enjoy tea and scones with small sandwiches but since Brexit I really cannot abide seeing bunting and flags.
I always feel like I see will see Tommy Robinson or Nigel Farage presenting me my food while dressed in a pinafore.
Perhaps Boris Johnson would be involved in sort the crisps selections.
Anyway, enjoy this place regardless of all the visual triggers it sets off.

We came here for a coffee and tea with cake to see this cafe/shop. Interesting items on display and there is an upstairs part of the shop. The homemade cake was good.

Went for brunch with a friend at Gorgeous Gerties and enjoyed a lovely sandwich, great pot of tea and then greedily a huge piece of homemade cake! The café is adorned with great retro pieces and items you can buy, that just blend into a very traditional tea room décor and the staff are friendly and very accommodating to your needs. In the café you can buy some great items, gifts, etc. Prices are great value, premises is very clean, including the bathrooms. Accessibility for wheelchair users is a bit tight, but manageable. can't wait to go again!

Popped in with my family, for lunch.
Sandwiches, Panini, and soup.
All nice, well cooked, and we'll served.
Friendly staff, well priced, would definitely visit again if we're ever in the area

Not impressed. Went in a bought a gift for a family member yesterday and was served by a senior member of staff.
I Was asked if I had any change, I apologised and said that I didn’t and that I was sorry ( I gave a £20 for a £13 purchase).
I clearly annoyed the staff member at the till...a little huffy and puffy.
Not my problem...if you run a busy shop make sure you have change at the start of the day. Be prepared.
I was extremely polite as I was with my children.
I won’t be going in as I’m fed up with trying to small support local business when I’m treated as an inconvenience. Not happy at all.

This cafe/gift shop/haberdasher was a nice experience to visit. With the gift shop at the front and haberdasher upstairs along with more gifts, there is a lot to look at!
We had paninis for lunch (tuna and red onion/cranberry and brie) which come with salad, coleslaw and crisps on the side. It was one of the nicest tasting paninis I've had - actually hot rather than barely toasted like I have had elsewhere. Our food, a small bottled drink and a hot chocolate came to just under £18 so not cheap!
There were just a couple little things that could be improved on to make it perfect like wobbly tables and dog-eared paper menus. But still a lovely place and I would go again.

I grew up in Dorking but since moved away. I was catching up with a friend from my first school (St Pauls). She suggested Georeous Gerties. It was like going back in time to an old fashioned tea shop. The cakes and tea were lovely, we had a nice catch up, then headed upstairs to look at the shop.
