Wanted something to take back home and was pleased I came across this little shop. Amazing variety of sweet treats from fudge to chocolate and biscuits to American candies. All at some great prices - you'll be stumped as to what to buy as there's so much!

Amazing customer service in this lovely traditional shop. We left very happy with our selection. Thank you from Tom without his glasses ( he had a proper behind the counter experience so he could read the labels!)

We loved our 20 minutes in this sweet shop, trying samples, laughing with the 2 nice gents who work there. A bag full of yummy lollies to take with us. Highly recommended.

Visited this lovely shop with my daughter and her friend. There is a fantastic selection of sweets, everything from old fashioned choices to modern candy style sweets. A very good range of prices too. The presentation and packaging is gorgeous. The girl behind the till was lovely and engaging, I noticed she made a conversation with every single customer and was charming. I don’t know her name but she was working in the afternoon on 23/8. We came away with bon bons and flying saucers. I would recommend this shop over Mr Simms which is a depressing experience with surly service.

This place was such a yummy treat!!! If your unsure of what a candy may taste like they are more than willing to let you sample it or maybe even a few... yummy.... The colours and sites attract your eyes everywhere at once! make sure to give yourself a few minutes extra to look around and take it all in! Thanks for such an awesome tasting and experience!

I purchased some strawberry bonbons from here, and they were absolutely horrid. They were rock solid,simply plain toffee with a thick strawberry dust which was disgusting and artificial. They tasted just like the Tesco ones, which is not what I expected from an old traditional sweet shop.

Unlike many tourist attractions this little shop takes time to care for its customers, even when the shop is crowded as it often is. Lovely lady behind the counter helped me choose the chocolates I needed and prepared two bespoke chocolate boxes for me, explaining as she went along. I shall be taking my Grandchildren in there very soon

I love this place just as much as my daughter, you can get all the old sweets I used to buy as a child and that brings back some fond memories. Not expensive so you do get very good value for your money. Very friendly staff and I will definitely be back for some more classic sweets.
