I tried to hire a boat for 3rd June ‘23 to witness the scattering of my sister’s ashes. After several phone calls going straight to voicemail, enquires and email not being acknowledged I have missed the sad occasion. This has been a very stressful time for the whole family.

We hired their boat to scatter my mum's ashes. They were well prepared with appropriate Hindu records.

We used the wonderful services of Bancroft Cruisers to scatter the ashes of a loved member of our family.
The ceremony could not have gone any better than it did.
Fiona organised the trip to absolute perfection and took into account our Hindu faith.
The actual boat trip was beautiful and we lowered the ashes in a biodegradable package with biodegradable petals in a very secluded part of the river.
A huge thank you to Fiona who was very knowledgable and lovely.

Recently we used Bancroft Ashes Scattering service to scatter the ashes of my uncle and the service we had was really great. Fiona is a amazing host. Her knowledge of what is required for a Sikh family was impressive. She was very understanding and sympathetic. My family had a really good experience.

Bancroft ashes scattering service made scattering my brothers ashes a really perfect special day, the detail and finishes they offered to make it the perfect send off and a day I know he would have liked. Thank you for making this sad occasion a memorable occasion that did him proud! Xx

Went out on one of your cruises at Stratford on Avon with a Coach trip from Chelmsford. Great river trip with one of the crew coming through the whole boat telling us about different parts of the river, great time. This was the 90 min trip and can recommend to anyone. Thank you Bancroft Boat Trips.

As a family we have availed Bancroft’s services a number of times. Cannot thank Fiona enough for making the experience of scattering my fathers ashes as he had wished. Fiona is extremely hard to get hold of but bear with her and she will respond. Fiona’s knowledge of the religious music to play was spot on and her special masala tea was just perfect. Thank you Fiona, appreciate your service and support.

The whole trip to scatter ashes was made perfect by Fiona and her team. You will not find anyone better who could make the day more special with the religious aspect and everything else. Understanding of rituals etc was catered for and everything went to plan.

As part of our annual RAF reunion we had a cruise on Saturday the 25th JUne it was brilliant, Toby (Captain) and Fiona (Host) was fantastic they were amusing and informative, the food, service and the whole experience was fab, thank you. Highly recommend this cruise.

Honestly the best experience we could have had. it was everything and more
we had booked to scatter ashes for my grandma and it was the most beautiful experience. Fiona and her team exceeded any expectations and went above and beyond.

Many thanks for your message. I've checked the diary and we have good availability on Sunday 22nd September from 12pm onwards. I've put a pencil mark in the diary. As yours is a group we would be more than happy to offer the boat on an exclusive basis for the same price as the normal sightseeing rates. Were you to have 45 minute private charter the cost would be £7 per person. If you'd like to extend to an hour the cost would be £10. We have refreshments that can be either pre-ordered or for tea and, coffee or drinks from the bar guests can decide on the cruise. Please let me know if you'd like to confirm your booking. Thinking of booking a private afternoon cruise for our 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, 9th September. There would be approx 20 in our party. The costs is £5.50 per person for a 45 minute cruise with live commentary. We have a full bar onboard and offer cream teas. We have availability at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. What time would suit you best? KInd wishes, Fiona
