We only saw Hall's Croft from the open top bus which slowed down so we could get a good look. The gate looked closed though so don't know if you can go in anyway.

Was unable to visit the inside but the outside is a fine example of a period house, which originally belonged to John Hall, physician and son in law of William Shakespeare.

interesting place, packed with history, found the staff friendly and helpful, didn't see the garden as it was raining.Got as part of the full story visit, well worth the price.

The house has a nice museum, with lovely authentic furnishings and interesting stories. The garden was very pretty and must look most impressive during the summer.

As Shakespeare's daughter's (Susanna) house, perhaps not the most well-known or most visited of the various houses. An interesting house and exhibits - some related to Susanna's husband profession as a physician being particularly of interest to small boys!. Lots of information on display boards but also informative staff on hand. Interesting and well- maintained gardens, a gift shop, and a cafe selling snacks and light meals.

We visited this because it was included on the ticket. The staff were helpful and friendly, there were a few interesting bits but it didn’t take long to look round.
The tearoom was closed for a private function which we were a bit disappointed about.

Enjoyed going around Hall's Croft. The gentleman at the reception was very informative and had a real enthusiasm for the history of the place.
I was impressed to learn it was the original building intact from the Tudor period. There was some really interesting items inside if your a history enthusiastic nut like me then you will enjoy looking around.
Inside, was lots of artefacts to see but not as immersive as Shakespeare's birthplace. The garden was very pretty and must look most impressive during the summer.
Lovely little cafe inside as well.

I toured round on Sunday morning and was able to feel the atmosphere as it must have been. Fascinating to imagine how they lived in Shakespeare’s time. I also visited the cafe in part of the house and celebrated with a glass of mulled wine and a home made mince pie with cream as Christmas is close.

If you have time I recommend getting the multi venue pass from the Shakespeare Centre and including this venue in your tour. It only takes an hour to have a good look through the house and garden, but it adds well to the overall experience and story of the family.
