What can be said really? It's a statue of Lady Godiva on a horse. A nice enough piece of art depicting a part of Coventry's history (or folklore). However, I couldn't get a good look at it thanks to the local Teachers Unions rather selfishly holding their strike protest by the statue. If you want to protest - fine, but take it where it will count - your local council offices.
Not worth a special trip, but if you're heading for the cathedral of museum or sure to pass it. I'm just amazed that some blue haired, perpetually offended lunatic hasn't started screaming about it yet!

What more can you say about a statue prominently placed in a square?!!
There’s lots more information on her in the Herbert Art Gallery near the cathedral. Now that was worth a visit.

Not bad for an old bird, nice 'personality' too, best time to visit is when the local drunks are not hanging around. Hopefully this statue doesn't offend anyone and get taken down..

An iconic statue no doubt and worth a moment of anyone’s time I guess, but it is just a statue. For those particularly interested in the history surrounding her I can see why you might seek the statue out but to be honest my main point of reference is from the Queen song…
