This is just a normal cheep town market. I come from a small town with a market like this. It’s nothing to get excited over or a place to ‘visit’. If you want fruit and veg / meat, cheep nails, etc then go, but it’s not an experience.

I initially thought the place was closed but I was wrong. We were the only two people in the whole market. It was dead and not very inviting. I would not go again.

Needed to kill some time so popped into the market. Found the market cafe so had a brew £1 for a lovely mug of tea. Service excellent and friendly staff

I forgot how varied this traditional indoor market is, international foods, deli, traditional sweets, bakery, fruit and veg, butchers, fishmongers, not all open of course but the essentials are and not packed and no queues...what more could you want...local businesses needing out support with super fresh produce!! I bought persimmon, giant papaya, massive cabbages to make my kimchi and sauerkraut, brawn, tripe, kiwis, etc and fantastic prices compared to supermarkets, extremely helpful and friendly business owners, the farmhouse deli with fantastic range of cheeses, meats...not far from central 6, I parked up and walked, very heavily laden going back but loved it...hard working small businesses deserve our support

Getting a key cut, finding harissa, seeing the fruit stalls and fish sellers, not to mention the obligatory coffee in a paper cup and a cigarette outside. Finding this market made my day!

This indoor market specialises in a wealth of traditional fruit and veg stalls accompanied by clothes stands, cheap homeware and secondhand items. Nothing particularly thrilling about the market and it comes across quite dingy, located underneath a car park in a not so terrific area of Coventry.

For new visitors to. Coventry I highly recommend a trip to our central market in the city entire. Here you can avail yourself of just about everything through a huge range of stalls. Most of the stalls are family run businesses which have traded in the market for generations, which adds to the friendly atmosphere. With all the goods on show, making your choices easier to make, it’s not a place you can just nip into. I find that every few meters I am held back by something I hadn’t thought of, catching my eye & calling out for a further look. Also, I can never visit the market without buying something! Well worth investigation!

Love it in the market can spend hours in there I get everything I need and more.you can buy hot food there's a cafe for all beverages, there's a toilet ,helpful friendly staff on every store.I believe they have first aiders, which is reassuring if your suddenly unwell.I love the place

This place used to be a hustling bustling market but sadly has gone into decline as has this area of city centre-needs investment now!!
