This place was horrible. Me and 2 friends went there for there birthday party and the karts kept on breaking down. Every 30 seconds the karts would just come to a halt. The staff were very helpful and found a temporary fix but it then stopped working 30 seconds later. Don't go. Wouldn't recommend.

We had booked a session for 3 people on a track where they only had 8 slots available. There were 8 names on the board made up of two families it seemed. Two groups, ourselves and the other family were in the safety briefing so we were very surprised to see a third group made up of 4 older men. These men were not in the safety briefing and seemed to push their way onto the track so there were then 12 karts not 8. I queried this as I thought it looked too many and I’m not sure I would have booked for my teenagers to have a go had I realised how many would be on the track. My 14 year old son was continually bumped all round the track by one particular older male to the point my son had to be taken off as he was badly hurt. The older males were driving very dangerously with no consideration for any other drivers. The people supervising the track did not remove any of these dangerous drivers from the track at any point despite the speed they were going. In the changing room afterwards the man who deliberately caused the accident was bragging to his friends about how many times he smashed into my son. These were obviously either regulars or just friends of management and we feel that this could have been far worse. Having only 3 people supervising such a large track when you have 12 karts doing speeds of 45mph is simply not enough. It is just a matter of time before something worse happens at this track.

There are times when you are allowed to go fast and times when you must slow down. The problem was that the amount of time we were not told to slow down was no more than about 4 minutes. Reducing the racing time to 4 minutes. This meant that for 14 minutes we were told you simply go round the track without an accelerating. This means that they only let you ‘race’ for 16% of the time. Which works out at a cost of £8.50 for each minute of racing.
They sent 5 out of the 8 cars off the track for ‘racing’. Before the 25 minute session was up.
This is down to the people that race with you, if you have some drivers who need to stop a few times the staff don’t hesitate to stop everyone or the race. They seem to one do it. I would be surprised if many races are anywhere near the 25minute mark.

Would have been super fun but we got taken off of the track after 18 mins because apparently we were ‘speeding’. The track manager talked to us like we were children not grown adults. We got told off for overtaking when, correct me if I’m wrong, the whole difference between driving on the road and go karting is being able to overtake, speed and enjoy yourself. Really not sure why we paid £136 to be taken off the track after 18 mins of racing. By the time the 25 mins of racing was over 5 people out of 8 had been taken off the track.
Go to this karting place if you don’t want your money’s worth.

Amazing experience. Most of my friends including myself had never gone go-karting and we had an absolute blast! The glow aspect was brilliant and we had both layers of the tracks which added such a fun aspect to it. The staff were very helpful and we all had such a great time. I’d definitely recommend going with a big group to lower the expensive cost but it is definitely worth the money.

Had so much fun…. We went back 2 hours later… staff are enthusiastic about safe fun , communication is clear and non patronising!

pretty dreadful customer service. Booked a number of spaces for a teen's birthday party. A few week's before the date tried to add one more person - sent emails, messenger on FB, called many many times to customer service who never answered - in the end had to give up.
Kids enjoyed the karting but one poor boy hadn't had his kart set up properly. He couldn't reach the brake properly but was too embarrassed to say and then went straight into the barrier at full speed. Was immediately taken out by a very rude marshall who refused to let him back on. I can understand the safety element but they weren't remotely kind or considerate to him. all in all, the people at the venue were just rude and abrasive. Not sure I'd bother going back even though the racing itself can be fun.

So, having watched Lewis Hamilton win the British Grand Prix with me, my 10 year old daughter decided she wanted to drive a car like that and so i decided to treat my 2 kids to there 1st Karting experience and booked the 'Family Glow and Kart' at Absolutely Karting in Maidenhead which was nearest to me. Upon arrival, the staff at reception were great and very informative, once the formalities were out of the way (forms and safety video) we changed into out racing outfits and headed to the karts. unfortunately for us, we seemed to have 'The Addams Family' karting along with us, oblivious to the fact that this was a 'Family' kart, they decided to race all guns blazing! Throughout the race, they had total disregard not just for us, but for the warning lights and flags and must've knocked cart into my 10 year old daughters on 5/6 occasions! so much so i decided that for the rest of the race i will drive behind my daughter as she had slowed down so that she will not get bashed into and attempt to thwart of anymore knocks from this deranged woman (paid £90 for 3 just to do this). The Marshalls were aware of her rash driving and warned her on numerous occasions yet still allowed her to carry on!!!! Once the race had finished, this pathetic driver aka Bobbie Gray was heard being rude to the Marshall, I also tried to give her a piece of my mind but she just walked off and in my opinion should be banned from this place. My daughter has informed me she longer wants to kart again. Overall, a great place but staff need to act more swiftly with these type of demonic drivers.

I booked a party for my son in April. The kids turned up (having travelled some distance) only to find it shut with a note on the door. We checked our phones and had received a message 1hr before saying due to Covid had to shut. Now JUNE, no refund received.

Both myself and my 10 year old son love this place. We have been karting here for a while when the lockdown hit. Great thing is its back and feels really safe. We have our own crash helmets and balaclava so it's like our own personal PPE. They have great staff and a fantastic track. There are 2 tracks one for kids, one for adults or family's and then full track. Could not recommend it more.

Hi I would suggest call their number on the website and see if they are doing junior karting and then turn up.i went without checking with my 10 year old and returned with a very disappointed kid.
