Interesting shop to stop and visit. We had coffee and snack which were very good. Did not find the staff overly friendly in the coffee shop however very nice in the shop itself.

I bought some of the Windsor farm shop eggs
I’ve never had such watery tasteless eggs in my life
I’ve had Tesco value egg’s taste better
Especially as they charge the price of a Clarence court egg
Surely if you’re representing the royal estate you should be selling quality products

We went for afternoon tea to the Café at Windsor Farm Shop, with a group of WI ladies, and had exceptional service. All the staff went over and above to be helpful, and the scones and tea was outstanding. I can't rate this highly enough, We had a lovely afternoon and the most delicious scones as well! Thank you.

Following a visit to the Windsor Farm Shop we decided to have coffee and cake in the attached cafe. It was really poor. The coffee was watery and lacking any body. The sponge cake was stale and over sweet, the flapjack tasteless.

Dreadful cafe - won’t ever go back. Called in to see family in the area and decided we would visit the cafe for morning coffee. Rude staff at the till, overpriced food was absolutely awful - stale cake and stodgy scones which all made for a miserable trip out. Used to be a lovely place to stop for a coffee. Don’t bother with this cafe. Utter waste of time and money and needs a complete overhaul in how the cafe is managed. So disappointing and I’m perplexed why management is not acting on the many negative reviews/feedback.

I had heard that this was a lovely place to visit so I came down from Lancashire to experience this place with my family. We had even brought the dogs. We had called beforehand to ask when the cafe was open until and were told 3:30pm. At 2:57pm we started to order our food only to be told that the kitchen was closed. The only available food was the light bites which had chips??! The woman at the till was very rude and was hurrying us up clearly not wanting to serve us. We only wanted sandwiches- nothing cooked. She kept huffing and puffing and then told her co worker ‘ THEY want food!!’ rolling her eyes at us. It was at this point that I realised this is more than just poor service, it could well be a race/colour thing (I did wonder if the woman would have talked to us with the same mannerism had we have been white, and suspect not!) I’ve seen this sort of treatment before and thought the world had moved on but it appears not in some areas!! When we spoke to the manager, she told us that she was having a bad day. SO WHAT? If people are in the service industry, surely one either takes the day off or speaks with respect to others- it’s common decency. There was no apology. Especially as this place is not cheap. We eventually ordered chips and the supposed toast with jam at £3.50 we were given 2 slices of brown bread on its own with no butter or jam?! (Granted we asked not to toast them) and even then the woman huffed at us. Considering this place represented the Royal Family, it’s very concerning that staff are permitted to conduct themselves in such a poor manner. To top it off the rude man behind us started to hum on purpose out loud as if to say we had no business being there. A sad reminder that day of the fact that some areas of the Uk are still seemingly racist.

Staff were uninterested and oblivious to good customer service. We arrived mid morning when the cafe was quiet so there should be no excuses for the dirty cutlery, glasses and cold bacon sandwiches we received. When staff were approached and made aware of the issues we had they were totally detached and blase. Managers really needs to respond to customer's reviews and look at staff etiquette, quality of food served to ensure it is hot and fresh and improve on food hygiene standards, to meet customers expectations.

Feels like it is operating without any enthusiasm or pride. We expected something special but it's a muddle of temporary and permanent buildings with uninteresting food in the cafe. Yorkshire farm shops could really show this one how it could and should be done. With so many reviews citing rude or unfriendly staff why are changes no made.

I got here at 2:45PM hoping for a late lunch. I know they stop at 3:00 PM. The checkout lady was dealing with a customer in front of me for at least 20 minutes. She didn’t know what she was doing. When it was finally my turn to order at 3:05PM I asked for a jacket potato and was told that they stopped serving lunch at 3:00PM! I tried to explain that I had been there waiting since 2:45PM and was told they stopped serving at 3:00 PM! They did serve me a microwaved pasty which was so overdone that I couldn’t cut into it! I had hoped for a jacket potato to stay on my diet. Last time we were here we had expensive cake that was stale on the outside and frozen on the inside. This place used to be so good! What happened????

Does the shop sell any sort of memorabilia/trinkets such as keyrings, magnets etc? I can't see anything on the shop website to indicate that they do but thought I'd ask.
