Had an amazing experience at Tally ho stables. Jenny who sorted our booking out, and ted who took us out on a 2 hour walk through Windsor great park were a credit to the stables..

We went for our daughter's 14th birthday yesterday. We booked a 2hr hack for a beginner.
She has ridden before but only 'pony days' at our local stables.
She had an absolutely AMAZING time out on Troy with Jenny and Blue leading them around the glorious Windsor Great Park.
My wife and I walked with them (when we could keep up) and enjoyed every minute of it as well!
Incredibly welcoming setup and have no hesitation in recommending to others!
We are already looking at the calendar for future visits!
Thank you to everyone at Tally Ho Stables for making our daughter's birthday so memorable! She didn't stop smiling all day!!

This was one of the best rides I have had in a long time.. Oscar my horse was exactly what I asked for.. luv him... Ed our guide was so informative and friendly.. Very friendly and welcoming staff and well cared for horses... Definitely will be going again xxx

Fabulous stables. Jen and all the staff were very welcoming. Great horses, well cared for. Asked for a lively horse and that's definitely what I got with Jack. Ed our guide was very friendly and informative. Great Windsor Park is second to none and no traffic. Amazing, worth every penny, will return.

What an awesome experience! Everyone was so helpful and friendly, and the horses were gentle. Our guide was lovely. The scenery was beautiful and we had a great time. One of the highlights of our trip. Hope to be back!!

I had limited experience of horse riding so was a little nervous. However my mind was put at rest immediately by amazing teacher, calm happy ponies, set in beautiful surroundings. Very well looked after ponies, very friendly staff and very professionally run. Thank you for an amazing ride.

I'm Very sore and last night had a bad nose bleed and fuzzy head so I think I must have hit my head running on adrenaline too probably.
I'm so disappointed in the stables. We didn't get a very good first impression with being rushed onto the horses without fully finishing paperwork! The lady helping us on was rude and bossy and Gwen who was taking us out was very cold and made us feel inadequate she put the fear of God into my friend with her horse "don't do this or make sure you do this with him" but totally ignored the fact my horse wasn't happy and kept diving off track I had told her and she watched him do it in trot. Billy was soaked in sweat from a previous hack he didn't want to be going on a 2 hr hack again and just wanted me off him we started to canter and before I had a chance to react Billy darted to the side and put his head down I fell of of him onto a tree. I know any horse can play up but a horse with that sort of view and determination is overworked not trained or has a issue and not a horse that should be used. He is also the polar opposite of what I requested on the phone. (Not a barrel sure footed).
Yesterday was a complete waste of our time and on top of that I'm hurt and have to find money to buy myself a new riding hat!
We won't be returning as we have no confidence in Tally Ho after this extremely bad experience.

I had a client visit from the US for the weekend who wanted to ride out and I decided to go back to Tally Ho after not riding with them for about 20 years. They were absolutely fantastic and just as good as I remembered them to be! Such lovely guides in both Michelle and Jenny, so kind and considerate, great knowledge of the park, chatty and entertaining. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and also visit again. I have my own horse who I love dearly, but it was such a joy to ride little Jack, such a poppet and so safe! Thank you very much, my client absolutely loved it and seeing the Duke of York drive by and wave at us couldn't be beaten!!! xx

My friends and I did a 2 hour hack on Saturday with Tally Ho and it was pure heaven. The staff was very friendly, particularly our wonderful guide, Scarlet.
We were allocated three beautiful horses, Enzo, Jet & Oscar which we all fell in love with (good job they wouldn’t fit in the boot!).
The Park is stunning and the ride took us around the sand tracks which seem to go on for miles through the beautiful scenery, it truly is the nicest hack we’ve ever done.
The horses are so well behaved and an absolute pleasure to ride. We even managed a few controlled canters which had us grinning from ear to ear.
If you’re debating whether to book a ride, then debate no more and just do it! You’ll never regret it.
I’ll definitely be back again next year, it’s my new ‘happy place’ :)

We had a marvelous day out with tally ho stables they are brilliant I hadn't rode a horse for many years but they soon pur me at ease riding on Tom and my wife on Lou Lou we had the wonderful Jess take us on a wonderful ride through great Windsor park what a amazing experience I can't praise these lovely people enough they helped us create a lasting memory of a awesome holiday

My daughter had been asking for some time if she could go on a 2 hour hack in the Great Park and with Jenny's help we managed to arrange it on Sunday 2nd May at comparatively short notice.
From start to finish, safety conscious, super efficient and friendly yard with an excellent selection of well-schooled horses suitable for riders of all abilities.
Great fun and we recommend Tally Ho Stables to anyone who wants to enjoy the stunning scenery from horse-back in the company of like-minded people.
