Central station on one line in/out from Slough. Very busy most of the time particularly summer, weekends and PH. Great atmosphere and very attractive area with lots of shops and restaurants. Right in the center of everything and runs regularly

A quaint pretty station with lots of eating and refreshment spots. Nice that it's the end of the line and you get great views of the castle on arrival.

The train station in the middle of the town and close to the castle. Plenty of shops and eateries near by. A view of the royal train.
My advice if coming from London, go to windsor riverside station as its direct (Vauxhall and Waterloo) and Windsor Central means you have to change. The other train station is around ten minute walk.

Easy to navigate in and out of the station. Had small stands to pick up water or a soda for the trip back to London

Good selection of smaller shops and cafes. A number of nice landmarks to photograph and use as a meeting point the train is nice, plus the bull, and another one of windsors unusual post boxes. Quite near the excellent Daniel department store.

The Throne Room to the Engine you cannot imagine how enchanting this place is until you have been here. The shops were very nice but close early.

We were surprised to see the nice shops and lots of restaurants as soon as you step off the train just about. Make some time for this area if you can.

Great starting point for our trek thru Windsor, we wanted to eat in the station but at 4 pm many were still gated shut.

For such a tiny place there was an abundance of shops, restaurants, cafes and so on to cater for the loads of visitors that arrive on a daily basis.
