This park contains a lovely statue of the Queen and her corgis. There is also a water splashpad and a nice play park. This is quite close to the main street so is easy to walk to

Rude employee at the ice cream stall, approached a young group of girls and shouted aggressively at them to not use the bins to put their rubbish away. He continuously kept shouting across the park to them and told them to go back to school and get a life!

Everytime I come with my husband the same group of teens are drunk or are throwing conkers at kids. So stopped taking my grand kids here as they have been hit 3 times 😡😡

This small park is located a little way from the tourist bustle in the centre of Windsor, so it’s easily missed but worth finding and enjoying. It has quite a big kids play area and a number of unusual features. One is a ground level fountain with water jets of varying heights. There’s an affectionate sculpture of the Queen with her corgis. Near one of the entrances there’s an obelisk, which dates back to the early 19th century and has inscriptions and a plaque marking various events that have taken place in the park, including two ox roasts to commemorate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and a visit by Queen Charlotte in 1801. There’s a cafe building in the centre.

When I passed through the park, autumn leaves were falling in the strong wind. It's not in the main street so this small park is easily missed. It is more of a playground for children.

A great little park when attempting to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourism in the castle. The water fountains are fun for the children to play in and the play area has a large range of fun climbing, balancing and swinging apparatus.

So nice to find a quiet area to sit and contemplate by the water fountain. Lovely play area for the children far enough away so not too noisy but in good line of sight. Nice clean toilet facility and ice cream shop too.

Denna lilla park som innehåller The Queen Walkway, skulpturgruppen The Queen and Corgi samt ett vattenspel och även toaletter. En bit ifrån slottet så det är befriande lugnt här.

We've visited Windsor on many occasions but walking along the back streets stumbled for the first time upon the park called Batchelor's Acre. Entering from the east we noticed a plaque commemorating a feast held here in 2002 involving a feast of roast ox to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. All that remains of the site is a patio and a water display which is presumably still dousing the flames after the celebration. Her Majesty also appears in a sculpture in another side of the park of the Queen sitting down holding a black corgi (hopefully not incinerated in 2002) with a number of other corgis running around its base. But the main function of this part is to house a children's play area. So why it is known as Batchelor's Acre unless sponsored by the makers of CupaSoup I'm not at all sure.

This is a lovely park to take young children to. It is in the centre of Windsor. There are some lovely fountains for children to play in. They were very much enjoyed during the hot weather. There is also a play area. There is an interesting statue of the queen with her corgis. There is plenty of space for picnicing with some shade provided by trees. There is an opportunity to buy ice creams and snacks. There are also toilet facilities in the park..
