Fantastic experience, and at a terrific price point! I traveled solo for a few days with Steve. It was like – and frankly turned into – traveling with a new friend. Great conversation, so much information about the land, the history, and even fun ghost stories! Steve has so much integrity and was extremely helpful, if not downright accommodating in many ways, to ensure I had the trip I envisioned.
My 1st day, I wanted to venture to Wales, instead, for some specific sights I was interested in. It was a last-minute change, but Steve was flexible, ready for the adventure, and came with valuable suggestions and ideas on how to improve upon my excursion. Day 2 was a plan of Steve’s design through the Cotswolds, and it was a blast: sprinkled with introductions to artisan craftsman (ex: a silversmith) and plenty of room for me to explore areas for myself. Day 3 included venturing to lovely ruins and hearing some spooky stories of people and events, past and present. Steve was thoughtful in his planning and routes to ensure we were able to make the most of the daylight and landscapes. And because I had also folded in reservations for Falconry (with Walk with Hawks) and dinner at some choice spots, Steve also helped me plan so that I could save money between stops.
A few tips:
1) Communicate upfront about wants and itinerary. Had I done a better job communicating long before my arrival, Steve could have helped me save so much more money and effort in the way of travel to the Cotswolds. He’s very knowledgeable about other regions so planning would be much smoother and cost effective with earlier discussions.
2) For those unfamiliar with international travel, make sure you pay attention and have a backup plan in case of a strike with the Rail Systems. This is not unique to the UK, and thankfully my travel was not impacted. But there was a strike taking place during my days in country and I could rest easy knowing I had a backup plan at the ready.
3) Don’t be shy: meaning, if there are things you want or time you need to yourself, express that. The trip is your own and if you communicate with the driver, the trip can truly be what you want it to be. I was very open about what areas or aspects I cared more or less about. I would let Steve know when I wanted company and a pint in a pub, when I was wanting to explore some areas solo, or stop for pictures. I have a hard time imagining anyone could have a bad experience with this company but, if they do, I’m 100% sure it’s on the customer.

After being banned from driving for 6 months following reaching 12 points, I needed to find a local company to collect me every day from my remote cottage at the back of Broadway Tower and take to to Stratford Upon Avon train station for my commute to Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Liverpool.
Not only did they pick me up every day on time, they were flexible with train delays in collecting me late at night, not late once.!!! Being late for work was my biggest fear following my ban but within in a week of using Mogg, Tina, Matt and Tim I knew they would always be there, and that has they were for 6 months until my ban was over in November 2022.

We had a fantastic experience with Steve, and Matt driving us over a three day period. We did two walking tours where they picked us up at our house and drove us to our starting points and then picked us up at the completion of our walks. Recommended great pubs for beer and food along the way. It wasn’t just a taxi service, but rather an experience. We spent one whole day with Matt driving us around small villages and Hidecote Gardens, and Broadway Tower. The service is impeccable, and their knowledge of the area is beyond compare since the family owned business is headquartered there and all of them grew up in the region. Both Steve and Matt knew Many hidden gems off the beaten path including the Donington brewery… Where we found the “honesty box“ and bought a few Donington beers. You can’t go wrong with this excellent approach to sightseeing in the Cotswolds. They also drove us from the Cotswolds to our hotel in London at the end of our trip and that was fantastic as well.

A returning guest after 3 years. Says it all.
Matt & Tina are the best in Cotswold. We were transferred from Bath to Cotswold stopping in a few small vilages. Tina was lovely and accomodating. We used the Company for many shorter trips over our 10 day stay and all went perfect!

Steve was hired by our walking tour company to transport us from our hotel to the starting point of our first day of walking town-to-town int the Cotswolds. He was prompt, friendly, and offered plenty of local knowledge. After our last day of hiking,
we needed to contract with him personally to transport us to a nearby town with train service to Edinburgh.
Between Steve and his wife Tina, they realized that we'd get a better connection if we went to a town other than what had been suggested by the walking company.. With Tina's guidance we found train schedules and purchased tickets ahead of arriving at the station. Steve was again prompt in arriving at our hotel for pick-up and delivered us to the station. Professional, knowledgeable, kind, and courtesy to a fault we are grateful for our good fortune in meeting Steve and Tina.

Spent 3 days touring the Cotswolds with Steve, owner of Cotswold Executive Cabs and being picked up at Heathrow and delivered back by his lovely wifeTina. They were both delightful people and easy to work with, both happy to accommodate our needs. I gave Steve a very brief overview of what we wanted and he designed the touring for us, he gave us great information about each place we visited and ensured we had a wonderful time. I would absolutely recommend Cotswold Executive Cabs for all your transportation needs while visiting this most charming corner of England.

Steve absolutely was one of the best parts of our trip in the Cotswolds. He was incredible with prompt communication before our stay and a joy to be around for the 3 days we were there. I loved hearing the wealth of information he had to share about the area, and I greatly appreciated the special touches that he added to our tour which truly made it memorable. He felt like family when we departed and we can’t wait to return and see him again. You won’t go wrong with Steve and Cotswolds Executive Cabs. He is a great driver, reliable, had a nice clean car, and the most wonderful personality. 10 out of 10.

Steve is an amazing tour guide! As a lifelong resident of the Cotswolds, Steve showed us villages and sites seldom mentioned in the guidebooks. Each day, he surprised us with a fun activity. My favorite was a visit to a
multigenerational silversmith shop (reminiscent of the guilds of yore).
Steve’s warmth, kindness, and patience made this tour the highlight of our UK vacation.

Steve and his son Matt provided my sisters and I with memories to last a lifetime! Friendly and warm, yet very professional, they navigated the backroads and lanes of the Cotswolds, allowing us to experience this corner of England from the point of view of a local. I cannot recommend Cotswold Executive Cabs more highly. The three days we spent together rank among my favorite travel experiences ever!

Four American sisters lucky enough to be traveling together in England. If we could give Steve and Matt ten stars it would not be enough to describe our experience with this wonderful family. We were thrilled with our three day tour—the stories, secrets and insider recommendations reflected the local insights only those raised in the region could have. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from this family company, but perhaps most telling is that we feel that we have a new friend! Many thanks to some very special people
