As there aren’t many artisan chocolate shops around, when I saw this I had to visit, largely due to their display in the window
The variety and display of chocolates that they have on offer are brilliant, visited twice in August and was very impressed both times with both the customer service, smell & the chocolates on display
The salt & pepper truffle along with the raspberry truffle are amongst some of the best

Was attracted to the window display of a lion made from chocolate then saw it was an artisan chocolatier so had to go in.the range of chocolates inside were vast and amazing so much choice.so treated myself to cherry kirsch chocolate mind blowing is an understatement absolutely beautiful may seem bit pricy but well worth it

We were visiting Conwy for Easter and I hoped to pick up something nice, chocolate and egg related. We were staying just down from the shop so happened upon it after we arrived. Just the smell as you enter is amazing. The owner explained the provenance and who they were supplying. Some amazing chocolate pieces on display. We settled for an Easter dragon collection, salted, beautiful colours and presentation. What’s not to like?

I have been buying chocolate boxes, bars, eggs (ohhh... and a chocolate chicken!) gifts from Baravelli's for a few years now, and never once have Family, friends or I been disappointed! The chocolate always comes perfectly wrapped, beautifully presented and of course tastes every bit as good as it does in the photos! Couldn't recommend Baravelli's any higher!! Justly deserved 5 star rating from me

A very special place, exquisite chocolate that is just too beautiful to eat! Hade made creations which are works of art, a true artist. The chocolate selection boxes which you choose yourself are delectable!

Although I am both local and not much of a chocolate fan, I didn't know about this place until it was included on the itinerary of the American travel company I am working for this summer. What an absolute find! The owner is so knowledgeable and friendly and so delighted to share his passion and interest. The chocolate is divine and they are wrapped so beautifully it is almost a shame to open them. I made a 50 mile round trip yesterday to stock up on more. How special to shop locally on a product made with such love and care.

Mark was absolutely amazing as I needed to know which ones didn't contain milk he was very informative and helpful
Not to mention the quality of the chocolate is absolutely amazing and probably the best choclatire I've every visited will definitely go back next time I visit the area

What a find! It was difficult not to buy the whole contents of the shop. The chocolate we bought home was gorgeous and proved difficult to give away as presents. I only wish we lived nearer.... Or maybe that would be a bad thing!

Baravelli’s is a MUST for anyone visiting Conwy. I’ve been buying here for maybe 10 years or so, and even receive requests from friends, colleagues and neighbours to bring some back whenever they find out I’m even remotely close to the shop! It’s a rare pleasure to speak to master artisans of this calibre. Stop in, fill your boots and thank me later!!
