Great night on friday 21 April 2023. Showaddywaddy were great .Seating quite comfortable. Staff helpful on arrival. Problems . 1) Despite notices about NOT using recording devices pictures, videos being taken every where( nobody asking them to stop videoing)which was distracting. 2) Half way through second half People getting up and dancing in the aisles, blocking the view about 20 people (AGAIN no staff around to stop them)
This spoilt the evening for my wife and I and also other people sat behind us. We went to see the group, if we wanted to listen to them we would have stayed at home and played their records. Will not be going to Swansea Grand again until they start enforcing rules about recording and People dancing.

Just returned home after an excellent night's entertainment at the Grand theatre Swansea.
The performance was the 'Spirit of the dance' which certainly did not fail to impress.
The standard of the dancers and their routines were top class and extremely entertaining. The dancers, both male and female, gave their all throughout the performance from beginning to end leaving us wanting more. A marvellous , dynamic performance including a variety of different dances and well worth seeing.

What a disappointing night. We didn’t expect Michael Buble himself but the tribute was nowhere near the quality it should have been. The vocals were weak and expressionless. There was no interaction with the audience and the band looked fed up. We left at half time but my sister said it didn’t get any better. The setting was gorgeous as usual but a big disappointment especially as we spent £32 each for a ticket.

Delightfull smaller size theatre in central Swansea. Clean if a little cramped which is the 'norm' in other places of a similar age to this. Good band this evening in 'ELO again' most enjoyable. Good coffee in the reception/ticket area. Car park right outside which is cheap at £120 for 2 hrs, for disabled dricer that's 3 hours same charge. Plenty of eating & drinking locally too, a good position in town for sure.

Snow White what a fabulous panto just watched it with my 7 year old granddaughter and she loved it 😍 An all round fab cast especially the brilliant kev johns as betty it was so lovely to see all the kids enjoying x highly recommended

Went to see Snow White on the 10th Dec 2021 with my grandchildren and partner. Oh what a night. Fantastic, the cast and staff brilliant. Would recommend a visit. This show has put the fun back in to Christmas panto. Thank you Swansea Grand x

Puccini's La Boheme as put on at Swansea's Grand Theatre was a first class performance. The music was fabulous, the scenery and staging fantastic and the singing wonderful. The staff at the theatre were friendly and helpful: there was good parking directly opposite the venue.
All good.
But sadly, my enjoyment of the above was severely curtailed by the fact that the refurbishment in the mid 1980s didn't seem to stretch to the seating. I've never had to sit in such uncomfortable seats in either a theatre, a planetarium, cinema or lecture theatre. It got so bad, I left at the end of the 3rd Act, which was very upsetting.
Paul McCartney once said that all he got out of the theatre was a sore backside ... he must have meant here.
All good.

Visited here on Saturday January 25th.Outstanding night of comedy song and magic,Top of the bill was John Owen Jones and the west end star was superb,ably backed by The Fly Boys,Noel James,Shellyann,Sophie Evans,and Soul Illusion but it was the incredible voice of thirteen year old Gracie Jayne that stole the show, Gracie is surely destined to be a world star.Incredible value for money and would definitely return. You can find all the entertainers on U Tube and it is well worth a look.

Came to watch the Peter Pan pantomime with my girlfriend and absolutely loved it! The actors/actresses were superb and the costumes stood out with bright colours!

Can anyone tell me which are the best seats in the theatre for a music show please? I’m being told ground floor middle but that it’s all on one level and want a really good view! Thanks in advance

Hi I have just booked 4 tickets for Max Boyce on 1st march. My friend and I are bringing our sons age 9 and age 10 as they are big fans. Just wanted to check if there was an age restriction as nothing wa s mentioned in the tour details. Thank you
