We normally attend the Christmas Panto in Aberdeen. However, given the price of tickets, transport etc we decided to go a bit more local.
Panto itself was great. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Bar doesn't open until 12 pm so we couldn't enjoy a festive prosecco.
*We're not from arbroath, so we didn't really know where to park. We opted for the Abbeygate car park. This turned out to be a mistake....a car park fine has arrived! The cheaper panto option has ended up £60 more expensive. Seems Arbroath council does not want people to shop/ enjoy themselves locally (for more than 2 hours anyway)*

I have been there for tribute concerts, pantos and occasional plays. Always enjoyed myself. Comfortable seats and a little bar in the foyer, so you can enjoy a glass of wine etc before the show and during the interval.

1st visit. Drove over from Windygates in Fife to see Islands in the stream. Beautiful wee theatre. Good seating friendly staff.

I live only 8 miles from this lovely theatre. We go there a lot for local musical events as well as plays and acts from all over Scotland. It is a very comfortable seated theatre with good views from all the seats. A bar is also provided.
It is also used every ear for our local schools Music Fstival. Children come from all over Angus to compete.

We visited the area and for first time visited this venue. Staff were polite and friendly and showed us to our seats. Seats were comfy with plenty of leg room. We did not use the bar but people around us had no issues with food and drink. We walked to the venue and parking could be an issue (so get there early). All and all a great theatre and fairly priced and would definitely revisit

Actually, the theatre itself and the staff there are first rate... people who seem well and truly interested in their customers and their jobs. We were in the Assembly Hall part of the building to see Fern Brady ... an up and coming, truly brave comedienne. She was very good; I think she could have filled a bigger venue. The Webster is a great asset for the town of Arbroath.

This is the second time we have visited this theatre and we were not disappointed.... the staff are really friendly and helpful and the theatre is completely accessible (I am disabled and walk with crutches) .... it’s a relatively small theatre but still has a balcony .... the seats are so comfortable which makes it a pleasure to sit through a performance .... totally love this theatre ... so much so that we booked another trip in the interval .....

This is a very good theatre. It is very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our visit there. Well worth a visit for a good show.

Lovely little theatre. Just right size. Big enough for spectacular shows, yet small enough for more intimate performances. Staff very helpful and friendly, including backstage crew.

Went to see vampires rock on Sunday 24th Feb. Really entertaining and lots of humour. Comfortable seats and nice sized venue. Steve Steinman provides lots of humour as the Baron. Sam Bailey was fantastic as the vampire queen and her singing was amazing. Well worth going to see. Friendly and comfortable venue.

is there a bar open in theatre when shows on
Hi - yes the bar opens 1 hour prior to any performance. We sell a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks along with confectionary and ices. We also take pre-orders for customer ease at the interval. I hope this helps, however feel free to contact me should you require any further information.
